25lbs by 4th of july ... anyone with me!!!!
ok so im looking to lose the last of this weight before swim suit season is in full action!!!! ( i have this hot pink polka dot bikini i want to wear) I really have lost weight fairly easily since last fall but as i get closer to goal it is becoming harder. I would love to have some folks to keep eachother accountable and to be able to discuss any issues we might be having. I was thinking friday weigh ins as i like to eat on the weekends :P. A bit about me. Ive been working on weight loss pretty much all of my life. I have had 4 children with the last two 11 months apart and this has really done a number on my body. I have never been skinny but i was never over 200lbs. I now know that im done having children and am excited to have made a lifestyle change that makes me feel better as well as look better. for me the weight loss is only one aspect of it. Im stronger, faster, have more energy and feel good about myself. And all of these things are just as important. I can play tag with my kids and it feels great!!! But I will admit that itty bitty polka dot bikini is calling my name. ok so heres my stats.

I'm not sure 25 pounds in 11 weeks is realistic. Especially when you get closer to your goal, the weight is slower to come off. A goal of 10-15 pounds is probably more realistic. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll reach your goal.

I'm definately down with trying to lose 25 by July. Thats when I am going to CA to meet my boyfriends family for the first time. So nervous about that. Anyways, I'll definately join this group!

I'm in for sure!! I think it's a lofty goal, but hopefully it's achievable! it'll just mean that I'll have to keep on track on my weekends! I find that's when I eat the most too, and I'm currently doing weigh in each Friday - that'll be perfect for me!

what has worked for me is watching portions and excercising. I dont cut out any food completely because if i deny myself i do tend to binge. i also work out 5-6 days a week weights running spinning aerobics. I try to change it up so that my body doesnt get use to it. i also do have a general idea of how many calories im eating and my meals are 5- 6 times a day between 250-400 calories each dinner tends to be my biggest meal the rest of the day im not hungry...lol...also tend to avoid soda...even diet....it makes me crave sweets.:( i never use to like soda until i used it for caffeine after having my kids. then i was like 2 a day...lol...what a bad thing..even diet...lol i think we can all support eachother and be successful....thanks so much ladies!!~!!
Count me in! 25 is my mini goal to get me from severly over weight to moderately...would LOVE to do it by the 4th...I think I can too!
ok ladies....so i've really been rolling this thing over in my head....AND .....I'M IN TOO. i wanted to make sure that i am really committed to this specific effort. Friday is my normal weighin day too. This week hasn't been great for me....no loss, but no gain either. but i also pretty much know why. too many cals in and not enough out, of course. like a couple of you also said, i too am going to have to be alot more conscientious on the weekends. i have really tended not to count at all on the weekends, or start counting and then have a few drinks and it's a wrap.... as if the cals just go in and come out by osmosis on saturdays and sundays!

Lets see to lose the weight I have only been drinking water and Ensure I will get to that in a minute. But normally I only drink water throughout the day, I try to drink at least 4-5 bottles. I do a workout dvd with weights and I usually try to walk at least a mile a day with the dog. I just started to lose again I was on a rut for a good week and a half or 2 weeks. So I upped my calories and it helped! Thats why I drink the Ensure because I have a really hard time eating 1300-1400 calories a day. Monday I am going to start going to the gym to help things along. I'm actually really excited about it!
