25lbs by 4th of july ... anyone with me!!!!
ok so im looking to lose the last of this weight before swim suit season is in full action!!!! ( i have this hot pink polka dot bikini i want to wear) I really have lost weight fairly easily since last fall but as i get closer to goal it is becoming harder. I would love to have some folks to keep eachother accountable and to be able to discuss any issues we might be having. I was thinking friday weigh ins as i like to eat on the weekends :P. A bit about me. Ive been working on weight loss pretty much all of my life. I have had 4 children with the last two 11 months apart and this has really done a number on my body. I have never been skinny but i was never over 200lbs. I now know that im done having children and am excited to have made a lifestyle change that makes me feel better as well as look better. for me the weight loss is only one aspect of it. Im stronger, faster, have more energy and feel good about myself. And all of these things are just as important. I can play tag with my kids and it feels great!!! But I will admit that itty bitty polka dot bikini is calling my name. ok so heres my stats.

...again..better than gaining right? it does feel good.. i just got home around 1135pm..i was going to eat fried chicken lol but i stopped myself right before i was about to grab it..i realized that i wasn't even hungry.. just drank some cold water..i'm keeping my toes and fingers crossed that i will stick with it!

I want to get in on this...I will be turning 30 at the end of July and want to be at 175 for my birthday.
I forgot to weigh myself this weekend, but I'll do it first thing tomorrow morning! I am hoping the scales have tipped a little bit. I'm noticing that since I added more weight and resistance training to my workout, I am feeling and looking slimmer. I went shopping last weekend and fit into a size smaller than usual, so I feel I've definitely lost inches. Is there a certain point when the weight will stay the same but the inches start falling off?? I'm certainly hoping to get to that point! :)
ok I gained 2 lbs this week... I know I know.... But I've gotten hubby to promise no more crap into the house as my will power right now is invisible.
so I did a revamp on teh food in the house and I'm fine now . I'll let you know how I did on Friday. :)

Sharly norton....yes...i think that there are definitely times the scale doesnt budge but you lose inches...i think that is more important to me than a number anyways...you look in the mirror and dont see a number right...lol...congrats on the smaller size and the weight training really does make a difference..keep up the good work
finally tall...dont let the gain get you down sounds like the revamping of the house was a good i dea..i know its hard when the goodies are sitting there...lol...congrats on getting married btw...im sure you can make it to your goal weight just dont let little mishaps derail you as we all have them..just pick yourself up and keep going...and you will be successful :)
Ok so i had so much fun this weekend...maybe a bit too much :P ...lol...i ate pizza and mexican food and drank way too much...lol...well im not gonna step on the scale until weigh in day and i pray i didnt gain...gonna be good until friday and hope that will do it...lol..i stepped up my workouts a bunch to...im gonna do cardio everyday as usually i only do 3 days of cardio 3 days of weights..so ill do cardio on my weights days...i did those crazy step ups using the weight bench at the gym.... i think my a@# is going to be hurting tommorow...lol...well hope the rest of ya are doing good...keep it up ladies...woo hoo

I weighed in this morning at 174. My body feels leaner and I feel like I'm looking better, so I'm good with the weight training. I've done some more reading on how to get the most out of my workout, so I'm going to start pushing it differently. Interval training and possibly some yoga or pilates to mix things up! :) Thanks for teh motivation!

It's FRIDAY! Time for weigh in! I used a different scale this morning and about had a heart attack, then I was told that the scale is 10 pounds off! That's the good news! So I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning at the gym to make sure it's really 10 full pounds, but It's been a good week! I've incorporated more fruits and veggies into my diet and I've really seen the difference! it's great!

I have been using the Jillian Michaeles book "winning by Losing" for the past month. One of my friends and I have been spending at least 2 hours at the gym 5 days a week. We do 35 min of cardio and then circut train for the next 1-1.5 hours. I've been following the workouts 100% yet I don't seem to see the scale move as much as when I didn't go to the gym at all. I don't get it? I eat healthy, not much processed food, don't really drink, and stick to about 1500-1600 calories a day. I do however feel better and notice that I can lift more that when I started.
