losing lol

so your writing that you are losing too much weight... and that you wanna lose about 27 pounds in 11 weeks.. but.... oh i dunno what you wrote lol sorry.
No that if 3 lbs a week would be too much to loose with a total of 23-27 lbs in 11 weeks

.

they say that those who lose more than 2 lbs a wk have difficulty maintaining the weight loss after a goal is reached

11 weeks even at 2 pounds per week (a good rate) is still 22 pounds.

and sometimes, when you start a new eating lifestyle, the first week or so you may get an extra bump of "weight loss" due to losing some water weight.

So if you'd be happy with around 20-ish pounds, that's a reasonable goal for 11 weeks.

its more the issue with maintaining.  You could lose 10lbs in a week, but soon as you stop you'll gain 2x it back (starvation mode kicks in, its complex, but real)

1-2 per week is a slow rate, so you can keep it off... i recomend it that way

On a weight loss site, why can't anyone spell the word "lose" correctly?  "Loose" is the opposite of tight.

The 1-2 lbs a week thing is for most people.  However, it's a general rule.  If you weight 800 lbs, obviously losing 6 lbs weekly will be a) easier than for most and b) within the healthy range for your body.  6 lbs per week is 3% of a 200 lb person's body, whereas 6 lbs on an 800 lb person isn't even 1%.  You can lose 2% of your bodyweight without dying.  They say the 1-2 lb rule because most people aren't 400 lbs, and most people can't lose anymore weight than 1-2 lbs without doing dumb stuff.
