How do i lean out my leg muscles?

I just want thinner legs, but still muscular. I try to do 5 days of cardio and 3 days of full body lifting that has been put together for my by a trainer at my gym.

Lots of stretching works for me. By lots, I mean LOTS. I stretch, and I stretch good, every chance I get.
