Quote  |  Reply
ok so i got 2 cavaties filled on my left side. the novacaine hasn't worn off yet. i already ate some beans/corn/salsa mix, but felt like i was chewing on my lip. im not terribly hungry, but ive only eaten around 1400 for today. i normally burned about 2000, but i trekked through the snow today at work. any suggestions on what to eat?

I'd say a nice milkshake would probably be good if you're trying to get in calories.  No chewing required!
Anything you can suck through a straw on the right side of your mouth.

Soup, juice...

good idea, but its like 25 degrees outside here and i just shivered at the thought of ice cream. haha

Bananaz ! They're pretty soggy/chewable.

I love bananas.. :D
Sounds like a job tailormade for yogurt to me

Pumpkin pudding?

You could look up recipes on the site.

 Or general warm puddings? Jello?

Oh I had that too, about two weeks ago!
I ate soft vanilla ice cream :)
But Jello is a good idea too!
thanks guys! i ended up having some soup and vanilla yogurt. about 400 calories and didnt have to chew a bit ;)
