Leg still hurts
I started that learn to run thing about wednesday and Did the whole thing but I stopped short at 2.5 Miles. I took a rest day and then the next day I did the whole 3.1 Miles including walking breaks. Then I tried running again Friday and I couldn't imagine me finishing it so I took a resting day my leg still hurts when I jog but not when I walk so should I take one more day of rest and will it always be this bad on recovery. About how long does it take to get over it usually?

I just went through this with my knees. I took 2 weeks off before attempting again and saw a doctor.
Are you doing the walk 3 run 1 regimine. If so, take a day or 2 more off and try just doing a walk 3 run 30 seconds.
What part of your leg hurts? Is it both legs or just one. In researching my problem, everybody says if both legs hurt, it's probably more soreness due to the exercise than an injury.
Good luck but definitely don't push it too much.

Its only one leg that hurts but i doubt its an injury because it hurts less today than it did yesterday. It just sucks when I first started my weightloss journey I didnt do cardio I just ate less and lost the weight. When I started doing cardio it makes me feel good and it sucks not being able to do it now. I hope its not an injury reply back if u can.
EDIT: Maybe my right leg hurts because I am more right side dominated I guess my right arm is more strong than left. I dont know I guess i put more pressure on my right when I run.

You should take time off as soon as you notice pain. I had this problem with my knees, it started with only my right knee, so I decided to take a break from exercise. Then a few days later my left knee started hurting too. It starts where you only feel it after you work out, and then it progresses to the point where it hurts just from walking around the house. Now the only cardio I can do is the stationary bike.
