I'm thinking of shaving my legs.  Leg shaving is normal for cyclists but I've just never been able to bring myself to do it.  I guess it's because I come from an era when the only thing a man shaved was his face.

So I was wondering how many men out there shave some area other than their face and what women think of the men that do it?

So if I'm reading this right women of the age of the men that save their bodies prefer men's bodies to be shaved which is of course why these men shave them.

not quite, i'm pretty young and i don't want my BF shaving his body hair. he's hot just the way he is ;P

She asks me why
I'm just a hairy guy
I'm hairy noon and night
Hair that's a fright
I'm hairy high and low
Don't ask me why
Don't know
It's not for lack of break
Like the Grateful Dead
Darling

Gimme head with hair
Long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming,
Streaming, flaxen, waxen

Give me down to there hair
Shoulder length or longer
Here baby, there mama
Everywhere daddy daddy

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

So it's not generational then.  Men that shave end up with women that like hairless men.  And hairy men the remain au natural partner with women that appreciate them.

Why do men that shave their arms and chests grow beards?

to present a rakish appearance - either that or they like to cultivate on their faces what grows wild on their arses?

I've also notice the trend for men with male pattren baldness to shave their heads and grow beards.

i dont think its generational no

im 46

the only hair i like alonzo to keep short is on his head and his crotch

hes 42

and prefers that the only hair on me is on my head

as do i

but its more a practicality thing

i get less hair in my teeth ewwww

and it shows off my jewelry better Wink

Weird, but my guy like a little hair elsewhere (on me) When I mention a brazillian; he cringes and says "just a trim'll do".

my man was balding but kept what hair he did have buzzed like a marine - between that and the neat little van dyke on his face I was in rub head heaven. :)

here's a related question, how do you men feel about arm hair (not underarm, just arm) on a woman? i have never, nor do i ever plan to shave my arms. i've definitely got some arm hair, having dark hair and all. the thought of arm stubble just freaks me out!

rubbable stubble rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr yessssssssssssssssss

To me arm hair on women is totally acceptable as long as it isn't thick enough to qualify you for a roll in a Geico commercial.

here in texas there are many latinos and they have dark arm hair. never seen anyone who shaved their arm hair though. thats would be weird. it is what it is. no big deal.

Arm hair is ok on either gender! I'm not a fan of arm pit hair on either gender. See, I like men with hair, but I don't like armpit hair. Yeah, I'm weird.

My husband also prefers hair on the happy place too. Easier to trim at least, teehee.

The inventor of NADS did it because her daughters had very thick, dark hair on their arms....

I prefer a man mostly hairless -- and for the same reason as mooni -- don't particularly enjoy dragging my mouth/tongue across it....  I think all my years in swimming made me appreciate the hairless chest.  And, not care about female hairy legs (we were only allowed to shave for championship meets...).  So now I only shave if I'm likely to have anyone touch....

Having said that, I've never complained about a hairy guy -- it is not high enough on my list.  But I would like a little manscaping, ahem, down there.  Not denuded -- just trimmed.

SNAG!  #100!

muuuaaaahhhh!
