Are my legs too short compared to my overall height or not?
I feel like my legs are extremely short compared to my overall height, made even worse because of the fact that I am not only a mesomorph and a medium frame, but 5'10 3/4" to 5'11" as well. All the celebrity mesomorphs I've looked at all seem to have long legs such as Mariah Carey, Tina Turner and Serena Williams no matter how thin or muscular compared to each other. I'm just worried that I'm too masculine looking for a woman compared to other girls who all seem delicate, with long bodies and legs even though I've met some that said they were medium frame. My problem is not being muscular or mesomorph, it's the proportions.
I'm worried that I missed out on the "genetic boat": that I missed out on all the general physical characteristics that are supposed to make me a "woman", no matter the height or weight, etc. Things like long legs, long arms, long fingers and toes and even a shorter torso. I have a long face, a big head, big hands and short, stubby toes and fingers despite my height. I am struggling because I am trying to accept myself and convince myself of my femininity but feel like I don't even deserve to say I'm a girl or try out "girly" things. I feel like a freak of nature, built more like a man than a woman of my height or build/somatype.
I have an inseam of 33" to 34". I also want to wear heels with the dress, hopefully to make them look longer but I'm afraid because my body just seems so stocky and my legs seem almost too muscular when I wear heels (especially my calves). Like this girl at my school is the same height but is built like a model: her shoulders are two inches higher than mine and her legs maybe 3". But she just might be an extreme ectomorph because my shoulders are 2" higher than this girl at school who says she's 5'10" but I'm not sure whether I'm just too proportionate and have horrible BDD or she's wrong and might be 5'9" instead. Her legs are also an inch or two longer than mine.
I just would like to feel curvy or sexy or even normal. Here's a pic at 154 pounds; my goal is 140 (including toning up with pilates) and much healthier than previous goals because I am working on accepting myself:

I just want to be sure that when I try to wear something like one of these dresses, I'll look just as feminine.
The options:

But I'm afraid of looking like this (even worse, a skinnier/less muscular version), no matter how much I tone with pilates:

i didn't look at any of your pictures, because they're irrelevant. you can't make your legs any longer, so what's the point asking this question?
edit: okay, i looked at your links. you look great and serena is fabulous.
did you seriously link hayden panetiere as someone you spire to emmulate? seriously? come on. why would you want to look like a silly little actor-girl who can't even act?
No, not look like her. It's the other dress styles I want.
regardless. stop looking at celebrities and go try on dresses. if you have to, get a friend to come along and take pictures. maybe that will help you to see youself realistically. most women would trade ten years of their life for your body (i know, because we had a thread about that).
It`s all about the very high heels, they create this visual illusion of elongated legs. Notice how in all the photos you posted the celebs are wearing heels, and in your photo you are wearing sneakers - trust me, that`s the detail that makes the difference.
Also, in the last photo you posted, I see nothing wrong with the body, but the dress itself is very unflattering and also very different from the very tight ones in the other photos.
A good thing to remember is, rather than trying to fit into clothes, to choose what clothes fit you. Just get a friend or two to go window shopping with you and try different styles and cuts of dresses to see what looks best on you.

It's your two x chromosomes that make you a woman, not the length of your fingers and toes (is it a girl? is it a boy? doctor: looks like a girl from first glance but hang on while I measure the torso to be sure...) Put down the People magazine, go sit in a cafe and watch real people. Women come in all funny shapes and sizes, and from your photo you have nothing to worry about.
I think you look fantastic. You have a beautiful, feminine figure - not at all "boyish". I think you are just comparing yourself too much to others. You do have a long torso, but that's great, because it makes you look more slender. Everyone is made different, and everyone has something they wish they didn't. Oh, and that picture of Serena was awful - she really should have picked a different dress. I've seen her look A LOT better. It is amazing what the right dress can do for a figure.
If I were you (and I wish I were), I would look for dresses that have a tight waist and bodice, and flare out a bit at the hips to accentuated your hourglass shape. Something "flirty", not tight like the dresses you listed. Something more like this: http://www.amazon.com/XOXO-7038XY05-Juniors-P arty-Dress/dp/B001KZH9DU/ref=pd_sbs_a_4 If you can walk in them without looking clutzy, heels would definitely add to the feminine picture, but there are plenty of very feminine looking girls who wear short heels or even flats.
