Lemon Honey Mustard Glazed Chicken Recipe

Submitted by jjyang

Makes 4 servings

Using a lemon, honey and mustard glaze, these chicken breasts are transformed into a tangy delight. You can bake, broil, or grill the chicken. Marinade the chicken for 2 hours or more. Here, I grilled them, but if you want to bake them, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and spoon marinade over them. Roast for 25 minutes.

Ingredients
16 ounces chicken breasts, meat only, bone and skin removed
4 tbsp honey
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
Directions
  1. Combine honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, mustard, and black pepper in a glass dish.

  2. Place chicken breasts in marinade, coating both sides with mixture.

  3. Preheat grill and add olive oil.

  4. Grill chicken 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until meat is no longer pink.
