Lemonade Diet?

Quote  |  Reply
Anyone have any thoughts about this cleansing diet? I am starting it today and was just wondering if anyone has been on it before? I am  not sure if I can go the full course, but wanted to see if I can at least last a couple of days. I'm doing this not to lose weight but to rid myself of any toxins and extra bad stuff I may have put in my body over the last few weeks. Anyway, any thoughts?

oooh...that's a good idea...it's quicker that way!  Thanks :)
I started this diet on June 3rd this year, and stayed on for 14 days.  My starting weight was 220lbs.  I had a baby 3 months earlier.  After finishing the diet, I had not weighed, however it changed my eating habits for good.  I have totally cut meat and chicken, all snacks, refined foods, alcohol, etc.  I am currently 188lbs.  I lost 5" in my waist, and 4" in my hips.  I am 5' 7".  My goal is 160lbs.

Today, I started the cleanse once again.  You can lose 2lbs per day.  It all depends on your body type and toxin build up.

My greatest benefits; self-esteem, and healthier eating habits.  It is worth it!
What are all of the ingrediants you use and how much of each ingredian? This sounds interesting.
Start with a herbal laxative the previous evening.  32 oz lukewarm water with 2tsp sea salt first thing next morning; this is for elimination.

In each 8oz glass of water:

2 Tbsp lime or lemon juice, 2 Tbsp maple syrup or Black strap molasses, & 1/10 tsp cayenne pepper

You can have 6 - 12 glasses per day for cleansing or weight-gain purposes; 6 glasses for weightloss

I'm now on day 2...
if you google:

master cleanse PDF you can find the book online for free.
its not something you just get up and do one day.
you have to prepare for it and have a follow up plan.
you have to read the whole book. (it only took me about 30 minutes to read)
Also, you guys, there are LOTS of video journals on youtube.com from people who did this diet.  It's a great motivator if you're thinking about quitting!
