The Lemonade Diet / Master Cleanse / Detox

Quote  |  Reply
Alright, I've done some major research on this and spoken to several people first-hand about this.  After hearing how WONDERFULLY they sleep and how great they feel after being on this diet for three days or so, I'm convinced it will help me.  I've been feeling not-so-great lately, and I'm not sure why, so I'm hoping this will improve the way I feel!  I know a lot of people on here don't think it's a great idea, but our bodies really can store up a lot of junk and even eating healthy can't get rid of ALL of that without purging our system for a short time and FOCUSING on getting rid of that junk.  I'd love to share my experiences with anyone who wants to hear about it.  I know there are other posts on this, as well.  Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know!

my boyfriend did the same thing (cleans, I mean) and he was so scared to be away from the bathroom. he stopped mid cleaning.

i think he has started to work out more and  eat better, and aside from the rancid milk in is coffee this past sunday i think he has been feeling much better. Though i supposes the had the cleans and the rancid milk so he has gotten some stuff gone.

in any case, my word is just remember cleans means i comes out of you, so stay near the bathroom.

Yeah, I started yesterday.  So far, things have been great!  I woke up this morning feeling amazing!  I know that the first three days or so are the hardest, and I'm halfway through them, so I'm excited!  I am aware of the need to stay near a bathroom, so I'm glad I've been doing the cleanse at work.  It's easier to avoid eating when I'm working.  Thanks for the helpful reminder :)
Just wanted to send my support.  I did the lemonade diet when I figured out that my eating was just spinning completely out of control.  It helped me break out of that cycle, and I've been eating healthy ever since I finished about 6 months ago.  I think it can be a great tool depending on what you want to accomplish.  Yes, you WILL gain back any weight you lost while doing it, but it can be a pretty neat emotional experience.  Just make sure you take it easy and don't push yourself physically while you're fasting.  I used a lot of meditation while I was fasting, and it helped a lot.
you arent starving on it

maple syrup isnt calorie free.
 200 cals in 1/4 cup(2oz)

6-12 lemonades a day for the cleanse

at least 2 spoons per glass

1 oz per spoon

2 oz x 6 glasses = 12 oz of syrup minimum

thats 100 cals a spoon...so at 6 glasses thats 1200 cals
at 12 glasses that 2400 cals

starving...dont think so.

There are allot of ways to detox your system....  Just eating properly and portion control will do that...   stay away from the processed foods...  Fresh,  raw fruits and veggies and the proper amounts of omega or good fats...   Nutrition has allot of ins and outs to it...  I drink lemon water every day...  good for getting rid of excess water in the system and digestion... Also take the chayenne pepper capsules daily..  Experiment,  but don't let yourself get to weak that it affects your safety...   Keep track of how you feel and keep up the researching to the everyday diet for a happy,  healthy lifestyle...   Cleansings have been around for hundreds of years...  It's just that most of us get the queezy feeling when you talk about low calorie/improper calorie intake as leading to the yoyo syndrome...  Stay healthy.. good luck!  Will check back to see how your doing!  ;-)
