i think any time is a good time to give up something unhealthy!! lol

but chocolate in moderation really isn't that un-healthy.  it actually can be good for you!  a lot of us seem to keep a little of our "craved" food around to satisfy that need.  (see some other posts) but make sure that you have only a little, and very good quality.   i went out to dinner last night, and four of us split one serving of a really excellent chocolate dessert, so that's my quota for the week!

some people keep a little bag of choco chips handy, others keep little bits in the freezer, whatever works for you.  as long as you are able to enjoy it, and not over-do it!

somewhere in the recipes forum there's a recipe for chocolate ricotta.  i bought all the ingredients, but haven't tried it yet.  i'll let you know.....

i think you can use the "search" function to find it.
thanks a bunch! i've actually looked up some stuff on chocolate...i guess dark is better for you than milk chocolate. I like dark chocolate better anyway! But i usually have a little bit of the chocolate chips i use when i bake! :D my dirty little secret, lol
I was gonna give liquor up for Lent, but I knew God wouldn't want me to suffer; lmao. So instead of giving something up, I decided to commit to something. So I've promised to go to the gym 5 times a week.
I have given up the candy basket at work....its full of all sorts of goodies that I need to give up anyway.  If I give it up now and succeed in avoiding it, I think it will carry over.  Prior to lent, I was taking about 5 pieces a day!  I've been great so far and havent even wanted to have any!
