Lentil, Garlic and Thyme Soup Recipe

Ingredients
2 c lentils, soaked
10 c water
5 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp dried thyme
4 carrots, diced
Directions
  1. Place the lentils in a large saucepan and cover with the water; bring to the boil while preparing the other ingredients.

  2. Reduce to a simmer and add the garlic, thyme and carrots.

  3. Cook for a further 20 minutes.
