Any Les Mills Instructors?!?
I'm not an instructor but have been doing Les Mills classes for about ten years. I live in New Zealand so I have a membership at the original Les Mills gym here in Auckland and have been loving the classes long before they were launched to the rest of the world which I think is fantastic! Several of my friends are instructors though and totally love it. My favourite class is Body Attack but I've just started getting into Jam and Pump. Good on you for being an instructor - great way to kill two birds with one stone ay!
I still need the body to reflect it though lol.
Do you specialise in one class - or do you get taught how to teach all of them?
demi8 i'm in Auckland too, I go to Creo in Manukau every day after work and do a class! Pump is my favourite.. I have an RPM one on tonight haha.. wish me luck
That's awesome! I love BodyStep, as well as Jam, Attack, and Pump! I take 7-9 classes/week! :) Les Mills rocks!
I am not an instructor; just a participant :)
I know it's been several months since someone has posted anything regarding this, but I just want to say I'm a Body Attack and Body Step instructor and absolutely love it. I was always a dedicated participant, but I love being an instructor because I have the ability to change up the songs and mix them and inspire others. I love the feedback and I think Les Mills is an awesome company to be a part of. It is very life changing. I never in my life would have thought that I would be an instructor. I used to pass out within 5 minutes of doing aerobics when I was in high school but I have changed up my life with exercise and eating right and Les Mills has really helped me achieve my goals! ![]()
I was certified in Les Mills - step and pump- until the big split in 05 and being a gym owner, I had to decide whether to stay with Les Mills or go with BTS. I decided to go with BTS. Although very similar, I find BTS more intense. But, overall concept for both is great and keeps such an awesome member loyalty base!
