Which do you think has less calories?

Quote  |  Reply

So I'm going out to dinner tonight, and the place I'm going to has their menu online, but no nutritional information.  These are the two things I'm thinking about getting; which do you think has less calories?  Thanks!!

Rigatoni Primavera with Broccolini and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or...

Farfalle and Chicken with Lemon, Zucchini, White Wine, and Tomato

Oh, and here's the website in case you're curious :).

Well looking at the recipes online, it's a tossup. In either case both will be caloric. Are you set on Pasta?

These sound very nice also:

Lamb Shank on the Bone with Mustard Glaze on a Ragout of Lentils, Chick Peas, and Carrots with Fresh Basil Sauce

Grilled Salmon - Fresh Atlantic Salmon on Cannellini Beans, Roasted Tomato, Leeks, Pancetta, Arugula, and Fresh Herb Broth

My personal favorite:

Pan Roasted Bronzini - Mediterranean Sea Bass on Sauteed Sunchokes, Baby Green Beans, Roasted Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, and Leeks with Fire Roasted Citrus Sauce

I've heard bad things about the lamb, lol.  And I can't usually stand fish, although I wish I could!  Thanks for your help :)!!

def the chicken pasta. i never get anything thats "in olive oil". that can mean 10 tbs=1000 cals.

What have you heard? Just curious, because I think lamb is a good alernative to beef.

UD

chicken pasta would be my bet

All I meant was I heard bad things about the lamb at that specific place, not lamb in general.  I ended up getting lemon chicken, which for some reason wasn't on their online menu (I don't think), and it ended up being delicious! :)
