10 or less to lose - CLOSED GROUP!
Hey all, I'm looking for others with similar goals (not stats, anybody who's 10 or less from their goal) so we can keep each other company for the last leg of the weight-loss extravaganza. A small group would be great fun! (Let's keep it to just the first 10 or so who join - if I even get that many takers!)
My stats:
Age: 22
Height: 5'0
CW: 107-110 (morning-evening)
Goal Weight: 98-101
Doedoe, you're tiny!
Amayou I wouldn't even worry about your numerical weight - you sound like you're working out enough to be in training for a competitive sport - that'll show soon enough.
I'm holding strong at 125.8 this week (who knows, I might not have worn socks when I weighed last time, maybe I am really 125.6 still).
Anyone else find it really annoying when they enthusiastically log on to CC at 9am and notice they've already eaten 450 calories?
Off to go figure out how I'm going to allocate my 300 cals at supper :)
veggeek: haha, more like i'm a disproportionate person. :3... i've got a really tiny head (8.25" (21cm) top to chin) despite being pretty tall (a head to body ratio of 8.05!) it's not fun during art class when the teacher says that the ratio for normal people is about 7~7.5 (so i should be between 4'9" and 5'2" given the size of my head, but instead i'm 5'6"! egads!)
and i've got the tiniest adult ears i know. 2" (5cm) from top to tip. even the smallest size for the in-ear rubber ear phones have trouble staying in my ears cause they are too small. ):
Fortunately I don't eat until I get to work so I don't have that problem Vege.
Interesting info Doedoe.
Ok so my friend and I started taking these pills, they are all natural. She's is doing the detox first though and I just stared on these http://leptovox.com/ pills. So I took my first one Saturday before I went to the gym and I stayed on the elliptical machine for an hour which I have never done even at my peak fitness. The reason I stayed on there was because I decided to do a 10K and I wanted to see if I had the stamina. I'm not sure if it was the pills or just my mental state. Which brings me to this announcement I'm doing a 10K yay!!! I just registered online, this is my first actual race ever(since grade school). My goal is just to finish it 10k comes out to be 6.2 miles and I'm really excited. I'm going to try to get my family to come out and support me.
I decided before I got out of the Air Force that I was going to commit to something like this every year to keep me motivated to stay in shape and this is the first one.
I just read the ingredient list - looks like it's all fruits, veggies and herbs, so less scary than other diet pills (unless I'm missing something and that wasn't the complete list). Do you get to eat other foods?
Hey peeps...
Ugh, I was hiding on weigh-in day. It's TOTM for me, as well, and I am seriously annoyed seeing my weight bounce around between 109 and 107. Rarrh. I'm also in the process of moving, so that's really stressful -- I'm moving to MA - making my first trip this Friday, and then I have to come back to finish the move -- insanity. I'm really excited, but at the same time really anxious and freaking out. *sigh*
I eat regularly and take that pill with 16 oz water before I eat breakfast and lunch. I only took it before breakfast this weekend because I forgot to b4 lunch lol but I'm going to take it b4 lunch today as well.
Try not to freak out too much, so you can enjoy the move. A time for new beginings. Septi
Thanks Amayou - you're totally right about that. It will be easier to start eating right again when I'm finall settled in and not in between places. And I actually haven't been doing that bad, truth be told.
I moved across the country a few years ago and spent the two days before the move freaking out. But it all turned out fine!
Hey loves - just had an epicly awesome salad for lunch --
Used the leftover fajita makings from my dinner last night -- wegman's tangy chicken (which I'd cooked on the stove top with olive oil, garlic and onion), half an avocado, a few slices of yellow bell pepper and cherry tomatoes on top of field greens with a daub of sour cream.
404 calories of yum!
Sounds delicious, I don't wanna talk about what I had. But I will talk about my work out :-) I completed 4.5 miles on the treadmill in about 45 minutes. Although my knees are a bit sore, I have a couple if blisters and I want to give up I'm going to keep at it.
Good for you!!! I have gym clothes and shoes with me and am heading to workout htis afternoon.
TOTM officially started yesterday(a day early) and I'm not looking forward to working out today but hopefully I can muster up some strength. I hope everyone's day goes well.
Aww, I hope you can muster up some strength too, try something a little lower-key at the gym, but if not just take a rest day and be back at it tomorrow.
How is everyone else doing? Septi feeling better about the move?
I feel good about yesterday. Had a pretty crappy day at work, but I went to the gym and did some strength-training. When I got home all I wanted to do was order pizza but I resisted and had some noodles and veggies and frozen yogurt for dessert. And a bite of an O Henry bar :)
hope you can find the motivation to do a little light exercise despite it being ToTM! (i find it helps with the cramps and stuff... depending on how terrible they are though, cause i've had a friend who decided to go jogging on the first day of her ToTM, but ended up with terrible cramps instead. >"<)
sounds like you guys have been doing great! (septi, the meal sounds delish, and veggeek, it's great that you swopped pizza for a healthier alternative! with dessert too! :3).
yesterday, i discovered the goodness of fresh apricots and peaches. the calorie content (about 50 cals for a peach, or for 3 apricots), is such a mismatch with it's smooth, thick and dessert-like consistency. xD oh! and i read that peaches are great for suppressing ToTM cravings, so amayou you might want to get some (:
I actually left work yesterday I was feeling so bad, went home curled ina ball and idn't come out until today. But I'm feeling much better, I'm going to hop back on the tread mill today. I'm thinking about breaking my run down to, run 3 miles at 5.5, walk .5 miles and run the last 3 miles. We'll see how that works for me today.
Oh yeah I'm going to a lil dinner tonight to flirt with some guys again :-)
My eating has been FUBARed but I'm going to get it straight next week all week. I think I'm gonna start making my food in bulk, that will probably help me a lot. boil 12 eggs, grill 5 chicken breast etc.
Weigh-in Day!!!!
SW: 151.?
LW: 146.6
TW: 145.0
Maybe this getting ready for the 10K isn't such a bad idea
. But it is wearing on my feet, talk about blisters Ouch![]()
Mmm, doedoe, peaches and apricots sure are yummy :)
Amayou, nice work, and hope the flirting was fun!
I'm the same as I was last week - "maintaining" I guess. I have decided to stop counting cals and to try weigh myself a little less often because I think mentally I'm focusing on my weight/size/shape a bit too much. Still planning to eat as healthy as possible though!
SW: 125 LW: 114.5 Today: 114.5!
hey! haha, yea fruits in general are good. i nearly cried when i found out that my mum finished the mangoes this afternoon, before i could even have a bite. >"<
had a sleepover thursday night (didn't get any sleep and had to take care of a friend who got drunk). didn't get home till friday afternoon, by then i was too zonked to even bother to step on the scale, so i slept till today (saturday) afternoon. I'm 114lbs now (gained a pound!), and considering that i didn't eat that much (i did eat a tad of junk and not exercise for about 2~3 days ^^|||) i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's just water retention. >"< i didn't get much water during the sleepover (despite the junk), so i guess i'm pretty dehydrated now in addition to lacking sleep. *chugs more water*.
a funny thing that happened though, i dragged my tired self to the optometrist this afternoon, to get a pair of spectacles made.
optician: you're looking pretty tired today!
me: yeah, i just had a sleepover. didn't get enough sleep in.
optician: that's nice dear. which grade of secondary school are you in?
me: i'm not in secondary school. i'm in my third year of university.
(secondary school=ages 13-16)
*feels kiddy*
