10 or less to lose - CLOSED GROUP!
Hey all, I'm looking for others with similar goals (not stats, anybody who's 10 or less from their goal) so we can keep each other company for the last leg of the weight-loss extravaganza. A small group would be great fun! (Let's keep it to just the first 10 or so who join - if I even get that many takers!)

Age: 22
Height: 5'0
CW: 107-110 (morning-evening)
Goal Weight: 98-101
Oh nice, veg! Even though I eat pretty much the same thing every day and it's always about 50 or so calories over my goal, I log it like there's no tomorrow! Keeps me motivated. (: And I'm glad I'm not the only one who was obsessed. (;
Hey Stephiepops, 28 minutes is really good! I had to do this month-long thing of ultra super tough conditioning so that's why my time was so fast. I bet you a million bucks I couldn't do it now if I tried!
No biscuits today! I totally agree with you guys about the fruit thing—it satisfies way more than sweets. And Stephiepops thanks for your TOTM reassurance, I've decided that I'm just ridiculously irregular and have ridiculously light TOTMs. (And I'm sure I'm not pregnant so that couldn't be a cause ;)) Keep up the no-biscuit-or-cookie-thing! I love it :)
Yeah suzic87 I would take that week off too if I were you! I know it's not exactly ideal, but hey might as well have one week of rewarding yourself :) congrats!

Still no biscuits for me... wow I can't believe I am actually managing this, I even filled up the biscuit tin at work and at home and didn't want to have one at all (well thats actually a lie I did want to have one but I resisted).
Did my 3miles last night in 27mins 50!! That again is my best time yet, I was drenched afterwards but was on such a high I danced round the house for about half an hour afterwards - so glad no one was home to see that!
I made some bran muffins which are mega healthy so that if I get a carb craving during totm I can have one of those and its only 130cals which isn't too bad and lots of fibre to keep my ibs undercontrol. First day of totm today, not feeling too bloated and I know I said I wouldn't but I did measure myself today and I am only 156 which isn't too bad for the first day so hopefully when I come off I will be down a bit. Still aiming for my 155 goal this week though!
Happy birthday Suzie - its the end of uni you have to celebrate! You should take time off to do that and then start again after you celebrations - and I agree with doedoe - keep up the water levels!!

Ok so I made this recipe on CC for some muffins they are only about 100 cal per muffin. Great right, not so much if you eat 3 of them. then I had one this morning and I'd probably have one right now good thing I'm at work.
Then on top of that I was running late this morning and forgot to grab my frozen meal. I did however buy some boiled eggs from the cafeteria. so we'll see how this day turns out. I think I'm gonna go home real quick and grab one of my meals. I just have to make it til 2pm. I think I'll have 2 more eggs that should hold me over.
I really have to start exercising, my weight seems to have gone UP (just to 126, might be water, might be the time of day I'm weighing in, but still).
Eating hasn't been that bad - although today I skipped breakfast and forgot to pack a lunch, so wound up eating the not-fantastic cafeteria food (bagel and cream cheese, granola bar, yogurt smoothie). Doedoe, I need to track down some of those Kashi bars, they sound amazing.
Very impressed with the rest of you - a month without biscuits sounds like SUCH a great accomplishment and resisting a craving at nighttime is also very impressive - my willpower is lowest then, Amayou.
Great well I went for my run last night again, had no biscuits and only fruit after dinner so I think I did quite well. Feeling ok at the moment - got serious totm pains but am drinking tonnes of water to try and make them go away plus keep the water weight at bay.
155 this morning so if I stay the same I will have dropped one this week and completed my personal mini challenge- It would be nice if I could go a little lower though.

Hey guys! I've been struggling with my depression lately :(
But I've been pretty good about going to classes - and usually exercise SUPERLY improves my mood.
I haven't been counting much -- trying to focus on exercising a lot, choosing good foods, and gaining strength.
Our next weigh in is coming up fast -- yikes! I'm definitely not going to weigh less. oh well! I've been good, anyway. :P
hey septimusette! way to stay positive with the exercise! i totally feel you on the bouts of depression. i just moved back home after a year abroad and am fighting off the culture shock. on top of all of it though i've gotten the usual travelers cold and need to take a break from the exercise a bit :( i'm hovering at a weight of 139, 140 which it's been months since i've been under 140 so i'm therefore happy about that! hang in there, and run an extra mile for me ;-P

Stephiepops-I've been doing great on it too! No temptation...yet! Stay away from those evil biscuits! And way to drop a pound! I haven't weighed myself yet, but I've had a not-so-great week, we'll see how it turns out...
Amayou82-Ah don't worry one bad day isn't going to ruin your diet, just try going on a brisk walk or something after dinner and you'll probably be fine.
Septimusette-I'm sorry you're struggling with depression. To borrow a quote from Legally Blonde, "Exercise gives you endorphins! Endorphins make you happy! Happy people don't just kill their husbands!" Well the last part is I think kind of irrelevant to you but hey you have to include the whole quote! :)
Jeboltz-Aw I'm sorry about the culture shock I've never been through that before, but just remember that before you exercise you should be in good health first. If you aren't feeling well, try going on a walk or something--anything to move around--but don't get too intense if you have a cold. At least that's the way I see it.

i had a cheat day today! i went crazy on the chocolate cake though, so that's not good... >"< my weight will probably go up tomorrow when i step on the weighing scale! *oops*
Well, good news - I have internet at home now.
Bad news- TOTM pains are so awful I want to curl up with a bar of chocolate and die, honestly it feels like someone is ripping my insides out... evil! I have eaten a bit badly today as a result but still have not had any biscuits although it was a close call at one point phew!
Not sure what I will have for dinner yet but it will be healthy - I promise! Hears hoping for good weigh ins tomorrow - although with the way that I am feeling right now I am not too hopeful.

Septi- try not to let yourself get down too much. Take some time to focus on all the good things you have be it health, family, friends, tangible items, anything that makes grateful to be alive. YOu can even watch a good movie, you know your favorite one you watch all the time and it never gets old.
Today is going pretty well even though it started out a bit bumpy when my darn hard boiled eggs didn't peel correctly and I had to go buy some from the caf for 1.06 a pair. But I've stayed on track I had 3 eggs for breakfast, a coffee, with only one french vanila creamer and plenty of splenda. had another egg for a snack, and I'm on my third bottle of dasani. Lunch will hopefully consist of a smart one and a muscle milk light shake for a snack. Dinner will probably be another smart one, and maybe 2 muffins for dessert if I can afford the calories.

I've been a pretty good eater today. Have you all (if you live in the US) tried grilled chicken go-wraps at Wendy's? They're the same as the snack wraps at McDonalds. Anyway, I get 2 grilled chicken wraps with no sauce for lunch sometimes. It's yummy and filling. :) Oh and it's like 450 calories.
Alright I have an exercise test today for the Police Department. I get to have 10 of those sticky things put on my chest and then run on a treadmill so they can see if I'm going to keel over during the academy. LOL.

Oh dear, I seriously binged last night, serious period induced cravings and awful cramps caused me to eat loads of chocolate and pizza. I feel so awful about it now. I will put it down to TOTM being a really bad one and vow to be better - In good news through out my eating crap yesterday I totally didn't eat any biscuits! I have no idea how I managed to stay away from them but I did!
I will definitely be better today and for the next few weeks.
Weigh in 155lb! I got my mini goal despite being on evil TOTM and binging last night so I am happy. My goal for next week will be to get to 153 for Friday (I am kind of hopeing that coming off TOTM will give me a bit of a drop.
Septi - Keep up with the exercise honey. I have suffered with depression and keep up with regular exercise as a mild antidepressant. Keep going honey, we all support you!

I guarantee you that's because I'm dehydrated - I have a monster headache -- did wine, then G&Ts with the BF and his cousin who is in town.
Still fun to see that low number! I'll be drinking LOTS of water today.
I haven't weighed in yet. I'm dreading it. Stephiepops, there must be something in the air - my dinner was about 1200 calories of potato chips. Disgusting. My stomach hurt for hours afterwards, I can't figure out why I would do that to myself.
But I'm jumping on this "exercise gives you endorphins" bandwagon! I think that will be my new mantra. Legally Blonde is one of the few movies I have really really liked in the past few years.

yeah, that was me yesterday :( since being back my friends wanted to take me to my first bar as a 21 year old. i thought i was doing pretty great, taking it easy, letting myself indulge a bit since being back...until i could barely walk all the next day :( but today i am much better after resting and drinking tons of water (i could only manage to keep a bowl of soup and rice down yesterday)
good news is: 139 pounds! i broke 140! yay!
hang in there stephipops! i know how it goes with the PMS :( around that time i CRAVE salt and sweet. last summer i got into the bad habit of eating chocolate ice cream with cheese nips (disgusting sounding i know, but sooo horribly delightful!) it's been a year and i'm still fighting the urges, lol.
