Alright so I know that weight loss has a ton of these and I'm sorry if this forum already has this but I figure its better for us teens to have one for ourselves. So here we go, everyone just tell us your stats =] Also we should pick a day to weigh in. Just tell me what works for everyone =]

Hey! I want to lose some of the extra lbs of 'couple chub' that I've put on since moving in with my future hubby. I've been sick lately with some bloating so hopefully get rid of that too!

I'll join!

I want to actually join a group that will actually talk to you. It seems people start a group, everyone joins and says their stats and never come back ahahah. I go back to find no one came back! So hopefully everyone here will come back :]

I'm Heather.

I am 17, almost 18 whoo less than a month [: 

5'5 and 125.2 as of this morning :]

My goal is between 115-120.

I try to eat as healthy as I can, I know that I still have a lot to go with my eating habits though, I would say I eat more healthier than others, but not healthy enough. So right now I am working on that :] My exercise plan is day 1 - upper body heavy lifting and doing hiit. day 2 - walk/jog. day 3 - lower body day 4 - rest day REPEAT all over again :] 

I eat anywhere from 1400-2200 calories a day. I try to eat atleast 1700 that is my goal. 

Oh btw if anyone has any like food ideas they would be a pleasure :]

Monday weigh-ins are perfect (it'll hopefully help keep me on track for the weekend!)

So what does everyone try and eat? What is everyone's activity level?

Personally I try to stay really active. The past few days I have been unbelievably active and I'm really happy with it. The only thing I'm NOT happy with is how my eating habits have been based on the lack of time I have to eat. For example, today I woke up, ate a healthy breakfast (Fage 0% with fresh fruit and granola - 265 cals), then I went to my last final of high school and we were having a party so I ate 3 glazed munchkins (120 cal) and a peanut butter cookie (cc estimates about 80 cal), then as I was leaving this club I'm in was having a bake sale so I took a chocolate chip cookie (approx 80 cal), then I went out to lunch with some friends where I did pretty well, I had chicken teriyaki with brown rice (cc estimates 440 cals) then I'm doing this gardening project at school, so I spent the next two hours gardening (cc tells me I burnt over 400 cal) and then I had some friends over to swim - the only problem, my mom made delicious oatmeal raisin cookies and they had all broken apart so I have NO idea how many I ate, but for my purposes I estimated 5 and at 80 cal a piece that totaled 400 cals. But between having friends over to swim I swam leisurely in the pool for hours! I logged it into cc and it came out to say over 900. Then I actually ate my dinner which was cottage cheese mixed with applesauce. Right after I went to my boyfriends house where I helped babysit his newphew. This whole night was great excersize because first his nephew and I raced outside and then we played a 15 minute game of soccer. Then we went in the pool where we had races and then we played a game of "tackle Paul" (my bf). We played marco polo and were just all around really active. Then Paul and I had some vigorous making out which I hear burns quite a few calories :-P Only problem: there were fresh brownies around (over 200 cal)

Overall with the way I estimated my desserts my calorie count for the day came to 1761 but I got a B- in nutrition and my burn meter came out to like 2600. I think I underestimated my dessert intake so I probably still ended up with a good defecit but I'm mostly concerned with the nutrition. The next two days I have fancy meals coming up! Tomorrow I'm going to a graduation barbecue all day and at night I'm going out to dinner with my boyfriend to the Continental and then on Father's Day Sunday I'm going to a nice restauraunt with my dad! Ack I'm going to be really bad on my weigh in monday. Oh well, as long as I stay the same I'll be happy!

I don't know if anyone read all that I just needed to get it out. I'm hoping to stay very active the next two days as well but I know restauraunt food will mess you up big time.

haha I read it all =D Aww You sound like you were extremely active so I think you will be fine. Yesterday was a bad day for me. I had a pool party with my friends and we were very active but I had quite a few snacks. Overall Its okay because I woke up this morning and was .5 heavier but I certainly ate nowhere near 3500 yesterday so I'm not worried, it must just be water weight. Anyways, I'm trying to relax a bit and become more comfortable eating. 

My story:  A few months ago I started dieting but not in a healthy way. I was like this for about 1 month and a half and lost 14 pounds making me 111. I was absolutely miserable, obsessed, and falling apart. So I stopped, I cried, I took a weeks break from dieting and gained back up to 117. I held at 117 for a bit while my metabolism stabled and now, I eat healthy and have been losing weight steadily =] Im much happier now, more comfortable eating, and being around food, and loving getting into shape. 

Sorry this is sooooo long! Well I'm off soon to go to my second soccer practice =] I just had a soccer practice tryout for this team that is extremely good, number one in my area, and it was the second time I've practiced with the team. THEY OFFERED ME A SPOT! I was so happy because I tried out very very late so I wasn't expecting this. This is just more motivation for me to become healthy and get into great shape over this summer. If I join this team I don't want to be on the bench all the time. So over all today that gets me to around 3 hours of soccer =] Later I'm planning on cooling down with some laps and lastly some calisthenics YAY!

How was everyone else's day? I don't expect you to read all of that lol =] 

Congrats on the soccer team! That'll be so much fun/such great excersize.

 

Today's gonna be a rough day. Graduation barbecue and then out to dinner. I'm eating healthy at home before the barbecue and I'm just going to try and have water in my hands at all times so I'm occupying my hands/mouth and I'm not thinking about it. Dinner I've thought about what I'm getting and it probably won't be the best but if I drink enough water today maybe it'll end up ok and I won't gain. I logged everything I'm planning on eating the best I could and it came out to 1300 (my goal) but I'm sure that dinner is more than I estimated.
