I have a goal of losing about 23 pounds by Jan-Feb '08. I'm pretty new to this site and am just looking for some support/motivation. Anyone interested in starting a group with similar goals? thanks...

A little weight gain 0.3 pounds. I have been eating so BAD since Halloween but now it is over. So I am grateful for just that little gain!!!

I'm 5'9", 175 pounds. GW = 153 (according to CC). Current weight = 175
I've been doing this now for 4 weeks, lost 2 pounds the first week (yea!), but then gained it back the second week. I haven't budged since.
I eat between 1,400 and 1,600 cals a day (per CC). I've been eating pretty healthy for a while, even before this site, so I knew my calories wouldn't be decreasing much. My biggest issue is exercise. I know I have to do it but don't have the motivation...............well, really I don't have the energy - and I know it's a viscious cycle. I won't have the energy unless I exercise! I'm all for a group for people like me. Count me in.

Weighed in at 157.3 lbs this morning. I had a very bad fri, sat, sun (visit to my parent's), and it has taken me this long just to get rid of the water retension. Hopeing to make some progress this week!

I've been a little out of commission lately - I started a new job and have been crazy! So, I haven't weighed in or posted for last week or this week - sorry! I will weigh in next week on Wed. I've been avoiding the scale a bit since I started b/c I know my eating has been out of control. Back on track as of yesterday :)

Today's weight is 146.6. I'm amazed I'm still losing, because I never have the time (or willpower) to go to the gym these days. I guess walking to work (and hauling stuff around at work) is paying off more than I thought it would.
Btw, I don't have a set weigh-in day, so it's never an even week between my weights--hope nobody cares.
I am also wanting to loose 25 lbs. I am coming back to this site because a firend of mine had a coworker to use it and it has really worked. Right now I am focusing on my short term goal which is to loose 10 lbs by January 2008. I wish all of you the best of luck!!

So heres a toast to this upcomming week. We all need to get on the ball and get with it if we want to survive Thanksgiving!
Heres an interesting fact to ponder. Your stomache can stretch up to 4 times its normal size when fully expanded. Overeating over long periods of time can make your stomache bigger, thus requireing more food to fill it up = more calories takin in. You can also shrink the size of your stomache by eating less. For a while there I was getting full off of kids meals. LOL So lets all get our stomaches trained this week to need less food so we dont all binge on thanksgiving!
anyways my goal this week is to stay under 150. not really a weightloss goal, but its still a goal nonetheless. Ive been up and down from 151-150 for the last 3 weeks, and i finally broke 149 today. YAY!

YEAH... I am under 140
But I have also being doing TONS of cardio like 90 minutes a day. BUT I have been eating TOO many "sweets and bread" (my weakness), so this week I am going to do my BEST at not eating too much of that kind of stuff.

I'm pretty much stuck at the same range...was down to 142.2 last week but went back to the mid 140's again...will I ever get out of the 140's??
I have been lazy about counting calories and working out...so that is probably my problem. I need more time and motivation!

Not so good this week but the last 3 days I have been out to eat a 7 course meal, tons of sweets and bread too. So I am glad that I am still under 140! I did see a lot lower weight before "my 3 days eating trip", so there is still hope in the future!!
My goal for this week is to stay under 140 even after Thanksgiving dinner!
