Weight Loss
Moderators: duke3522, devilish_patsy, topanga1485, nycgirl, spoiled_candy, cmillington, coach_k Should I lessen my calorie allowance as I lose weight?
As I lose pounds, should I recalculate how many calories I can have? I'd assume I'd need to eat less at 186 lbs than I would at 189. Or should I just stick to the calorie amount I started at until I hit my goal weight?

Yes, you have to adjust it down, but it's not much. I would recalculate after losing about 10 pounds or so.
Actually, if you enter your info on here, it will adjust it for you every time you input your weight.
Cool! I did not know it did that! Thanks :)
Your energy needs will not change much if you're only 10lbs lighter. When I lost 50+ lbs I think my calorie intake reduced by 100 from start to finish.
