letting that beautfiul girl on the inside come out on the outside
hi all! I typically feel attractive... I am very comfortable in my own skin -- until I look in the mirror!
At 198 lbs and 5'4" my face is definately rounder than it should be! ha. This extra weight also makes me hide in photographs -- frustrating my husband because he wants me to feel beautiful :-(
I have decided that enough jacking around, it's time to focus on my weakest point: over eating!
And when I feel my stomach rumble? I think: that is the sound and feel of me getting beautiful!
You go, girl! I am 5'3" and 228.5 I hear you about the round face (and extra chin, in my case!). I find that by eating better and being more active, I am starting to feel better physically and emotionally. I still have a long way to go but it feels more manageable each day. Good luck!!
Welcome to CC and good luck with the weight loss. Sounds like you have a positive approach to it.
Welcome to the site! A quick tip to help the rumbly stomach: I find that if I replace some of the complex carbohydrates and fats in my diet with vegetables, I still feel full but I'm eating far fewer calories. Good luck!
Welcome to CC & good luck. We are all feeling the same way you do which is exactly why I joined a short time ago. Stay focused and don't get discouraged you can do it.
Genea, Love the profile pic!
thanks! my hubby and I just got back from Mexico! :-) My(ongoing) war with Montezuma's Revenge is really what started this whole new 'less eating' thing.
I COULDN'T eat very much for so long that I dropped a couple of pounds and my (very hot) neighbor noticed -- plus I was at a nude beach and I now I am tired of being the one who felt she had to cover up the most!
I am wearing a bikini next summer -- and going nude next time I am out of the country!!!! hahahaah :-)
p.s. which one are you in your pic?
Good for you! I love Mexico...
I'm the one in peach, the girl in blue is my very best friend :)
