What should my level of activity setting be?

I'm a 21-year-old law student. Most of my days are spent either in the classroom studying or sitting at home reading, but for the last 2-3 weeks I have found time every day for at least an hour of fairly intense exercise (jogging, weightlifting) in order to distract me from smoking (after 3.5 years, finally decided to quit!). I'm feeling great, and I'm so glad I found this site, but I just have two questions on how it works.
1) Should I put down my activity level as sedentary or light activity, since I exercise every day?
2) If I put down light exercise, does adding the weightlifting/jogging to my profile throw off the calorie count? It just seems as if my burn meter, 2790 calories (which ends up being 3200 when I add weightlifting to my activities), is a bit high. Am I really burning that many calories in a day?
Thanks!

A lot of members chose sedentary and then add their activities every day.
For a 21 year old student, I would say yes.  Students burn a lot of calories.
