Leveling off

Quote  |  Reply

Okay, so if you look at my previous posts, I am a little freaked out that I gained 20 pounds in a month. Gah! I went from 110-130! Will my weight just level off somewhere around 130? Will it go up more? Will it drop back off?

I'd love some answers, lovelies.

Your weight will level off as soon as you are taking in a normal intake without restriction and not overeating as well. If you try to stay around the same number of cals each day for maintanence then you will surely maintain when your body is ready.

The fact that you lost all of that weight in an unhealthy way is why your body is clinging to anything to make it healthier. Please don't stress about this weight gain. Anorexics and other ed victims deal with this gain also. I know that I have. At first it is so freaky, but as soon as your body feels like it can function properly it will adjust and then so will your metabolism, probably allowing you to consume even more calories without gaining.

Try not to focus on a number right now. Just make sure that you are listening to your body and giving it what it needs for nourishment. Everything will settle!!!

Okay, I have a related question:

So, I when I was losing, I was eating around 1500-1600 cal a day and I lost down to 110 on that. Now that my weight is higher than 110 (recovering) from eating around 1500-1600, will I start to lost back to 110 once my metabolism restarts?
