Liberte yogurt

Quote  |  Reply

The Shopping Basket thread mentions Liberte yogurt.  I just discovered it--the full fat version-Mediterranee or something like that.  Yum!!  The only place I've seen it in the US is at Whole Foods.  I checked Liberte's website--no help.

So US gainers--where are you buying your Liberte?  It tastes rich, like the yogurt in Europe or South America.

Thanks,

SSkirt

Sorry I can't help, since I'm in Canada. But I wanted to let some Canadians know that it's available in Super C, IGA and Loblaws :D

The ''Mediterranee'' IS very rich, and they have amazing flavours! I use it to bake muffins and they come out very moist and yummy. Last time I made them I did a Coconut yogurt and Chocolate chip combo. Heaven.

Not a gainer, but I LOVE Liberte yogurt.  I live in Tennessee, and I find it at our local food co-op.  You might try health-food stores and co-ops in your area, since they tend to carry really nice, organic, full-fat dairy like that.

Yup, Liberte is the best! All of their yogurts - from fat free organic to 8% Mediterranean - are delicious.  I'm also Canadian, and buy it at Calgary CO-OP, Safeway (Vons), and Superstore.

I found this link for all you US folks - it lists not only US distributors of Liberte, but also which grocery chains carry the products.  http://www.liberte.qc.ca/en/page.ch2?uid=USAP roducts

It is nice to see that we enjoy Liberte yogurt.  I remember the plum-walnut flavor as being especially good.  I enjoyed three flavors--I think that is all they had in the Mediterranee flavor at the Whole Foods I visited.

Megfallon:  thanks for the link.  Unfortunately, the only chain store on that list that is in my part of the US is Whole Foods.  The distributors seem to be focused on the East and Northeast.

I don't know of a co-op here.  We might have an IGA, but not in my side of this city.  So I guess it is Whole Foods or nothing for now.  It is only about 8-9 miles from home.

SSkirt.

PLUM WALNUT?!  You've got my attention now, Sparkleskirt.  Apparently I'll need to have a talk with the Co-op owners about why they do not stock this most awesome of Liberte flavors...
