Would like some advice

I'm sure there is a hundred threads like this but i'd like some advice from anyone who has some sound knowledge...

I lost 13lb in just over 2 weeks in january because of a combination of stress and not eating much, then went back to eating normally and didnt gain. One month ago i joined CC and totally changed my diet to whole foods and lots of fruit and veg.

I'm sedatory because i spend about 15 hours a day at a computer, dont get much exersize so im on 1200 calories (I'm 5'2,132lb). The first two weeks i lost a good amount, about 2-3lb a week. But for the last 2 weeks ive not lost a thing.

Ive been logging everything and have at most been 50 calories over, and one day last week i had a day where i ate 1500cal, which was still 100 cal under my maintenance.

The last 5 days ive done 20-30mins of jogging on my trampoline, it doesnt sound like much and only burnt 100cal but my legs and abs were killing afterwards.

I'm not really sure whether this plateu will pass or not, im under presure from my bf to lose weight fast and exercise more but at the moment i feel like the exersise is enough just for now.

I also really dont think im in starvation mode even though 1200 is low, because i still spend most of my waking hours at a PC, with probably a maximum of 20mins walking per day. My defecit is only 2800 a week so im not looking to lose alot each week, but if i increase my calories i wont even make a defecit of half a lb a week!

I'm really unmotivated at the moment, i feel like ive tried really hard weighing everything i eat and even doing a little exersize.

Can anyone advise me on whether this will pass?

Few people, even those with a desk job, qualify as genuinely sedentary for calorie intake purposes.   If you're moving around for half an hour or more a day then you're 'lightly active'.   The fact that you lost such a huge amouunt the first two weeks and then nothing would suggest that you're eating too little.

Someone your size needs about 1900 cals a day to maintain with a light activity level.  Try getting that tomorrow and then resuming weight-loss on about 1400 or so ongoing.  Obviously, anything you can do to increase your movement, the better.

WHY THE HELL is ur boyf pressuring u?! in ur pick ur super slim?! i think u need to a) get a new boyf cuz under NO circumstances shud a man dictate a woman he supposedly cares abouts fitness routine and eating habits...

b) im 5ft-- and sedentary as u are -and at 1200 i was losing....so u REALLY need to eat more to jolt ur metabolism back u have obviously stunted it with ur drastic cal cutting

 

how r ur fat levels? ur proteins?

 

i no its scary to think u need to eat more but ur body will not even perform weight loss processes if u r starving it of the energy to even function!

 

next time ur boyf makes a comment show him the door. controlling men dont change and take away ur confidence and perspective and zest for life...i see evidence of all that in u in ur post.

Do not let a boyfriend tell you to lose or gain weight.  Listen to your body and do what is best for you.  Anytime a male tells a woman she is: a)fat, b) bad hair, c) can't cook, etc.... you get the picture, he is trying to control you.  Run for the hills!  Been there, done that.
