5-10 lbs for me. That would put me at goal. Then I can tone & maintain. If I really stick to this, I think I can do it.
Wait!...I KNOW I CAN DO IT! :) There, self-motivation.
Good luck everyone!

At least 10 pounds if not more for the first 6 months.
I lost 5 in April. I'd prefer to lose 10/month, then I would be down in almost no time.
If I could lose 8 to 10 pounds a month I'd be fine with that. I'd hit my target in the middle of august even if I just lost 8 pounds a month. :)
I'm sure closer to the end I'm going to be lucky to lose 5 a month... where as last month and first 2 weeks of May I lost 15.

Well I only have like 10 more to lose, so I would be very happy with 5, though it usually ends up being only 4. One pound a week is usually all I lose...except the first month.
For the next month: at least 5 pounds
For the remainder of my weight-loss journey: at least a pound a week

I've been averaging 10 lbs a month since I started 4 months ago. That suits me fine. I'm sure it will slow a bit as I get nearer my goal, but that's ok too. I'm not in a hurry, I just want to get there and be healthy while I do it!
I'm happy with 4 pounds a month and that's a struggle for me right now. I'm at 151.5 and want to get down to about 135-140 range. The last 10 pounds really are the hardest. I'm amazed that some of you lose 10 pounds a month i know that is all based on your starting weight though...
8-10/ lbs a month would be about "average" (that would be 2-2.5 lbs/week). Anything above that would be GOLDEN!! At 2 lbs a week, I could be 62 lbs lighter by New Years (2007/2008)!! That would be awesome!
5 pounds would be great, but at this point anything would be great!
personally 3-7
simply cause I know the quickr its taken off the easier it goes back on because your habits don't become lifestyle habits, more like ADHD habits that can alternate.
good luck everyone

I'll be happy with 4-5 a month. I am not expecting anything too unrealistic. I can say I would like to lose 2 lbs a week, but that would be setting myself up for dissapointment
IF I LOOSE 10 LBS A MONTH I WILL BE AT MY GOAL BY SEPTEMBER. BUT 15 WOULD BE IDEAL, ANY SUGGESTIONS?
HI I WOULD LIKE TO LOSE 10 LBS A MONTH
I would like to lose 10-15 pounds
Ditto I want lose as much weight as I can before school starts.
My highest was month 3 at 22lbs. My lowest so far has been 14 (months 1 and 2) I think. I'm hoping I keep losing 10+ month for another 50lbs. at least.
