What do YOU like most about your new lifestyle?

So, I just recently got back on track after awhile of letting myself go.  I've only been back to eating right and working out for the past week or so, not long enough to actually make a visible difference.  However, when I got back from the gym this morning, I looked in the mirror and loved my skin!  I had forgotten what a huge difference a correct diet and exercise can make in how your skin glows.

And because I'm curious....

What, apart from weight loss of course, do you love most about dieting and/or exercising?

I absolutely love how my figures shaping up... I'm starting to see a big difference in my arms, and if muscles are showing there, they must be all over ;)

I also love all the knowledge and motivation I get from fellow CCers.

Its great fun, I feel like I'm getting the support I need without actually asking for it :)

Yay for everyone! :D

I love the fact that I have more energy and less joint and back pain.  No longer is just getting up in the morning a painful experience.

I love that I am strong and know that I am healthy.  I have had back problems forever, but havent had anything go wrong in the past 2 years.  I also love that I can wear a bikini and feeling pretty good it in!

i feel better overall, am more fit, and since recently can buy clothes i like

I love feeling healthier because of all the fresh foods I'm eating and the extra energy boost I get from working out!

Craving fresh fruit and exercise is so much more positive than video games and a cheeseburger. Wink

No more pimples! *Dances* Like you said, good diet and exercise makes skin look lovely.

Also I'm not going to bed screaming "Why oh why did I have 1000 calories worth of granola bars and 500 calories worth of popcorn? Why?" Hehe!

I love having more than 2 pairs of pants to wear to work. I always hoped that someday I would be back to the smaller me, so I kept a good amount of my "smaller" clothes. Now, I'm enjoying getting clothes that seem new and not having to pay anything for them. I just have to go to my closet!

my expensive suits fit again! for now (until they are too big) Laughing

Im still waiting for the "I feel so much better" effect...youd think almost 17 pounds would help that

Yeah, I am also using my old clothes. I never thought I was going to fit in a size 9 again.

What an great post!!!

What I like the most is how GREAT I feel after a workout.  For me, there's nothing like being drenched in sweat, so tired I can hardly walk up the stairs, looking like a royal, sweaty mess!

Mind you, I don't like actually ^doing^ the workout, but the way my body feels afterwards is amazing! Laughing

I agree with the feeling after the workout. Its such a high! I also love how strong I am. I can run now 2 miles no problem. When I started couldnt even run a block. and i see muscle definition in places i never did before...such a good feeling.

I love how I feel physically strong. I get a "Yeah, I could do that!" sense now, so much more often than the, "I can't, I'll never." I'm smaller than I used to be, but I'm way tougher. Like Buffy. XD

My whole family is so proud of me...they are all interested in my weight loss journey and really are so supportive.  I think they're amazed that I've stuck it out this far and are even asking me for advice!

This is going to sounds like a weird one, but I love how my body feels when I'm standing close to my boyfriend. I love not having those extra layers of fat padding the space between us.

Also, I really love enjoying my food. I know I'm not going to eat that entire bag of truffles, so I enjoy every last bite of the one I do eat. My food tastes better than it ever did when I was shoving it mindlessly into my face.
i like that i have set a good example for people around me.  ive noticed everyone making healthier choices since i started last year.
