Good morning one and all.

Morning HK.  Have you recovered from the weekend?

Actually.. I have a confession. I didn't intend to, but I ended up spending most of yesterday playing Spore. :)

... which is a huge surprise in and of itself.

Well, sometimes you just need to relax.  Hope you had fun.

I needed sleep more than Spore, but I got enough.. and managed to fix the room, more or less, so I could sleep last night, which was important.

I'm just glad my job rocks and that I can get away with taking as much time off as I do.

We had a cold front come thru yesterday and we're back below 0.  But for the weekend they are saying 50F.

My time off is really restricted, and so is my flexibility now that they changed my hours.  Been laying awake since 2 am again.  I need to just get up and go to the gym and make this a habit.

Most people don't have the.. liberal feelings about time off my company has.

I'm lucky. I know this. :)

I am headed back to work today...to a huge mess I am sure...notes all over my desk and a full inbox.  excpet for answering the phone and emergencies, no one does my job when I am gone...I want to crawl back into bed!

Where's Kim? She didn't go to John Hopkins already, did she?

I talked to B about the meet up in June and he's all for it.  not sure if we will just make it for Sat or stay over, but even if it's just saturday I am psyched!

For the record, the meetup itself is planned for Saturday. I just know last time when we had out of towners.. there was hanging out before and after the meetup. Everyone made a point of staying at the same hotel, so...

Whatever y'all decide. If you have to drive down, leave at a certain time and drive back, that's cool. If you decide to stay overnight, that's cool too. :) Whatever. :)

 She was going to JH later today, but she was going to try to stop by here before that.
