How I keep limes (the green lemon) fresh?

Hey, I was wondering of how can I keep these limes WITH OUT putting them in a fridge? If I slice half of it, then...is there anyway I can store it? I want to spice up my snack (lime + thai chili paste = awesomeness) so it would be great if I can add sour flavor to my food.

i think they'll probably dry out if they're cut and not in a refridgerator.

I'd say in a piece of cling wrap (Saran Wrap I guess is a brand) and try to make sure that it's as air-tight as possible.  But it probably won't be good at room temp for more than a day no matter what you do.

How about the kind of lime juice that is packed in a green tiny bottle? The factory have already squeeze the juice out and put them in a small container. Do I have to refrigerate them after I open the bottle?

 Yes.

If you're using those tiny bottles, you shouldn't have to refrigerate. I just drink them like that (because I'm strange), and sometimes if I don't finish it, I leave the bottle out on the table unrefrigerated, and it's still fine a couple days later. I don't know how long you plan ojn leaving it out for though... the longest I've left mine out was for about three days.

^ I agree.  I've gotten them before (and I drink them too =/ LOVE IT!) and if I didn't finish it, I just left it out and it was fine as well.  I wouldn't leave it out longer than a few days though :P

Mine say on the packaging that you have to refrigerate them.

 that's just incase you're stupid or it's your first time on earth =)
