Bread - Anything sprouted wheat--super filling

Veggie - Roasted brussels sprouts w/ olive oil and garlic salt

Frozen Entree - Boca Breakfast Wraps-Southwestern

Breakfast Bar - Fiber One Chocolate

Fruit - Granny Smith

Dessert - Weight Watchers Ice Cream (Mint Choc Chip), Pizzelle Cookies and Fat Free Cool Whip YUM-O

Dinner you prepare- Either, Grilled Salmon Salad OR Cumin Rubbed Flank Steak w/ warm tomato topping

Healthy Restaurant Entree - Any kind of fish grilled and salad

Breakfast you prepare - Thomas' Light MultiGrain English Muffins w/ almost anything including hummus, PB2 or Laughing Cow Cheese on them!

Veggie - broccoli (i cook it with lemon pepper and garlic)...or green beans

Frozen Entree - Stouffer's Chicken and Dumpling skillet meal

Dessert - chocolate mousse, pineapple upside down cake, ice cream w/ hot fudge (not healthy haha)

Bread - Whatever's in the pantry, my favorite kind is whole wheat. Although there is this "pretzel bread" my mom buys every now and again and it's insane!!

Veggie - Carrots

Frozen Entree - Stouffer's Mac and Cheese

Breakfast Bar - Special K Protein

Fruit - Apples, pears, grapes, pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, bananas...I love fruit

Dessert - anything chocolate

Oatmeal - My mom makes homemade oatmeal that's delicious

Dinner you prepare- grilled cheese (on whole wheat bread with provolone cheese)

Egg and cheese muffins - Light english muffin with egg beaters and light laughing cow cheese - so yummy and only 165 calories!

 

Cold cereal - Kashi Go lean crunch vanilla almond flax

Yogurt - is unacceptable

Bread - Silver Hills Flax Bread

Veggie - asparagus

Frozen entree - I don't usually eat these

Breakfast bar - Luna Bar - Toasted Nuts and Cranberry

Fruit - blackberries 

Dessert - Chocolate crepes filled with hazelnut cream, dipped in ganache

Oatmeal - is a wonderful ingredient in cookies

Dinner you prepare - Stuffed mushroom caps, risotto, and asparagus

Healthy restaurant entree - Do these exist? (I have a hard time finding healthy vegetarian choices at restaurants.  Usually the low-cal or low-fat menu is mostly chicken and fish dishes.  Even at all-vegetarian restaurants, most things are really high in fat in sodium.  I don't eat at restaurants that often, so when I do, I just get whatever I want and do some extra cardio the next day.)

Breakfast you prepare: Omelette with shallots, spinach and smoked tempeh 

Favorite fungus - morel mushrooms (the world's best food)

favorite condiment - malt vinegar (on everything except desert and cereal)

favorite herb - summer savory

 

 

Cold Cereal - Special K red berries

Yogurt - Yoplait light(all of the flavors are good)

Bread - anything whole wheat

Veggie - broccoli or sweet potatoes

Frozen Entree - Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers grilled white meat chicken

Breakfast Bar - blueberry Multi-grain cereal bars or Special K strawberry protein bars

Fruit - apples or bananas

Dessert - vanilla yogurt w/ fruit mixed in

Oatmeal - anything with brown sugar & cinnamon

Dinner you prepare- grilled chicken breast w/ mandarin orange salsa

Breakfast you prepare - veggie omelettes

Cold Cereal - Ok not so healthy but YUMMY (plus i make it healthier by adding special K and bran) vanilla almond granola clusters!! But if i had to pick a healhtier one, anchor toasted muesli (less cals than some swiss mueslis!)

Yogurt - vaalia low fat natural - SO versatile and really creamy!! I use it in savoury as much as sweet meals

Bread - Light rye - any brand

Veggie - Guy lan (its a chinese brocolli like bok choi but with thin yummy stalks)

Frozen Entree - We dont really have these, but i guess chinese har gow are pretty good

Breakfast Bar - I like simple made brekkies, but if you want a muesli bar then Be natural fruit and nut trail bar. Calorie bargain

Fruit - MANGO (close with bananas, raspberries, strawberries and bluberries)

Dessert - Oh not healthy - MUD CAKE. lol, but healthy... whizzed up fruit or a hot fat free pudding cup

Oatmeal - I like steel cut/plain or oat bran. Altho Aldi's date sachet is pretty

Dinner you prepare-  Oh thats so hard!! Umm, ginger beef on rice with snow peas. Mmm

Breakfast you prepare - Too many! Oats I guess, cheesecake flvaoured, or bananas or oh i really just love them all. I love brekkie

Bread: Rye or pumpernickel

Veggie: Raw carrots

Frozen Entree: Amy's Black Bean Burrito

Breakfast Bar: Luna Bar (Brownie or Oatmeal Raisin) Or Chocolate Fiber One Bar

Fruit: Alllll fruit...peaches, apples, or berries

Dessert: Skinny Cow Ice Cream Cones or Slow Churned Chocolate Ice Cream

Oatmeal: Quaker Simple Harvest w/ SF maple syrup, cinnamon, berries or banana slices, and crushed cereal

Dinner you prepare: Umm...Ziti bake, orange chicken w/ couscous, peas, and onions, or crabmeat pasta salad

Healthy Restaurant Entree: Don't eat out much...some kind of salad?

Breakfast you prepare: Umm...I microwave vitamuffins, pour cereal bowls, toast bagels, and peel the wrappers off TRADER JOE'S MUFFINS! Lol

WOWZA! This is an awesome thread! There were so many things that i wanted to put down, so please excuse me if i put more than 1!

Cold Cereal: special K with red berries

Yogurt: Yoplait light (thick and creamy, any flavor) (100 calorie)

Bread: whole wheat bread (Kirkland)

Veggie: Brussle sprouts (steamed)

Frozen Entree: Lean cuisine panini or sesame chicken   

Breakfast Bar: I don't eat breakfast bars, i think that they don't fill me up and they are just empty calories.

Fruit: Pineapple (or plums or strawberries, or papaya)

Dessert: No healthy: Tiramisu. Healthy: fruit salad

Oatmeal: Quakers Apple and Cinnamon

Dinner you prepare: grilled marinated chicken with onions 

Healthy Restaurant Entree: Chili's salmon with the black beans

Breakfast you prepare: WOW! There are scones, muffins, pancakes, but i normally eat cottage cheese with cinnamon and splenda with 3 crackers.

Yogurt - raspberry bio yoghurt by yeo valley

Bread - fresh baked granary bread

Veggie - mangetout and baby corn

Frozen Entree - quorn chunks

Breakfast Bar - natures valley canadian maple syrup granola bar, NAKD cocoloco raw food bars or yoghurt and almond eat natural bars (i cant choose!)

Fruit - bananas, apples, strawberries, mango, raspberries and pears.

Dessert - chocolate cheesecake, sticky chocolate steamed pudding, fruit crumble with ice cream or custard

Oatmeal - OHHH! either apples, raisins, cinnamon and brown sugar
crushed up oreos and peanut butter ORRRR toffee hot chocolate powder and banana

Dinner you prepare- wholemeal pasta with quorn, steamed tomatoes and onion

Healthy Restaurant Entree - errrrrrrr.... i still dont eat out :(

Cold Cereal - Raisin Bran! Add chopped orchard-type fruits (Apple/Pear) for an interesting delight!

Yogurt - Light n' fit strawberry.  But the key-lime by Yoplait is fantastic also.

Bread - Well... I actually prefer bagels.  But rye bread is good too.

Veggie - Spinach FTW!  You can do so much with it!

Frozen Entree - Lean Cuisine's macaroni and cheese... speaking of which... do I have any left?

Breakfast Bar - Fiber 1 chocolate chip kind.  8 g of fiber per bar.

Fruit - Pears!!!

Dessert - Apple pie a la mode... if there was anything remotely healthy about that, I'd have it everyday.

Oatmeal - Quaker's Instant with Apples and cinnamon.

Dinner you prepare- I'm a lousy cook so I can only cook a few things.  I like to marinate chicken in raspberry vinaigrette (diet raspberry works too) and make a salad with unconventional additions such as nuts, mandarin oranges, pineapple, and bean sprouts.

Healthy Restaurant Entree - Probably ceasar chicken salads.  I eat those everywhere.

Breakfast you prepare - NONE

Other Favorites:  Bagels, peanut butter on oreos (not too healthy but very tasty), celery with chunky veggie dip.

Breakfast Bar - i really don't like bars. i made oatmeal squares once that only had oatmeal, apple, soy milk and brown sugar that were really good.

Fruit - (soft) nectarines, grapes, apple (in that order)

Dessert - soy ice cream, dark chocolate, juice (i don't know i don't eat dessert very often.)

Oatmeal - irish oats w/ a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar and of course some soy milk

Dinner you prepare- bean burritos, sloppy joes, black bean burgers or stir fry.

Healthy Restaurant Entree - veggie delight minus cheese (subway), green mean burrito (gaia-local vegetarian restaurant), lentil soup and focaccia bread (marie catrib's- local restaurant), low-fat vegetarian vegetable soup (panara bread)

Breakfast you prepare - tofu scrambles with lots of broccoli and mushroom

Cold Cereal - I eat porridge for breakfast. I like bran-type cereals though :)

Yogurt - Light, something chunky with berries.

Bread - Freyas or Vogels. I love thick fresh bread.

Veggie - Eggplant, spinach, tomato or zuccini. Also baby salad greens

Frozen Entree - I had a frozen meal in America that gave me food poisoning so no. haha

Breakfast Bar - Cadbury brunch bar - toasted coconut

Fruit - Cherries, raspberries, strawberries. Green apples and plums.

Dessert - A strawberry milkshake

Oatmeal - Uncle Tobys apple & raisin oats

Dinner you prepare- A big tofu salad and spinach & mushroom risotto

Breakfast you prepare - soy coffee and porridge!

Cold Cereal - Fiber one!  It's the only cereal that I can't just polish off the whole box in one sitting.  :D

Yogurt - Silk!  It's so yummy and creamy, esp. the blueberry flavor!

Bread - Orowheat ligt!  Only 40 cals a slice and 3.5 grams of fiber!  Lovely!

Veggie - Everything (except okra)!!!  Esp. broccolli and brussells sprouts!

Frozen Entree - Anything by Amy's Kitchen, I adore them.

Breakfast Bar - Luna bars!

Fruit - Papayas, apples, and graes!  Yum.

Dessert - Earth cafe's vegan cheesecake.. mmm

Oatmeal - cooked in diet root beer!

Dinner you prepare- I don't usually prepare dinner.. hehe.

Healthy Restaurant Entree - sierra Madre's "only place in town" cafe has a wonderful gardenburger, and you can get sides like steamed veggies and fresh fruit.  ^.^

Breakfast you prepare -oatmeal!  Nothing ever beats it!
