Getting those little "extra" lbs...
Hi - I'm Chris and have about 4 extra lbs that are creeping up. I'd like to address them now before the trend continues. I am 49, 5'4" and weigh 114. I am physically active with tennis and running but my work (in sales) allows me to eat some nice meals which I do enjoy. I'd like to learn to make healthier choices when eating out but I also don't want to go overboard. I'd like to make some minor changes that I can continue long term to gradually lose the extra weight or at a minimum, just not gain any more.
Exercise along with diet are two of the key elements when it comes to weight loss. I read at Project Weight Loss what is the best exercise to lose weight. Almost any exercise can be done in a tabata style. Some of the popular ones are squats and push ups - as neither requires any equipment or much knowledge to do and can be done anywhere. So for example for tabata push ups, you would do as many push ups as you can in 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds, then do another 20 seconds worth, then rest etc etc.
