I was wondering if you set yourself at sedentary do you need to log in each thing you do all day. I sit a desk all day and I can log in 9 hours at a desk into the activity log but I was wondering if I was doubling what the calculator was already doing. I always log in my exercising, my walking to and from the bus stop and walking my dog but I was wondering if my not login in my sitting at a desk calories was hurting me. I just want to make sure I don’t over or under eat. I have lost about 18lbs so far and I am kind of at a standstill. Anyway any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks GROUP!
My understanding is that you should only log the extra stuff you are doing - like exercise or a long walk. Even cleaning and cooking would fall under sedentary.
One way to make sure you are estimating accurately, and set to the right activity level is to log every thing you, for 24 hours, and see what the total of those activities is, including your sleep (not including the basal level cc+ gives you). Then take the activity level that best estimates that total.
