I have my own personal speadsheet where I log in everything including beverages but ya it would be a good idea for you to log in the beverages as well.  A lot of calories come from the beverages you choose on a daily basis and people usually forget to account for those.

Are you on the South Beach diet or just a low carb diet?  I'm on the South Beach diet  and my snacks usually consist of sugar snap peas which are the best thing to have around when you are craving something sweet.  There's also a recipe on this website for veggie cups which is mini quiche if you're in to that.  Made them last night and they came out great.  You can make 12 at a time and freeze them.  I'm sure everyone else will respond with great ideas as well but if you go to recipes and just enter in low carb, quite a few recipes will come up that are really easy to make.

Yeah you know if they have no calories, like water, I don't bother entering them.  If you're looking for less carbs and say more protein, lean meats are the way to go, like chicken breast, lean beef and tuna.  Because I'm on the SB, one of the major things I eat is a can of tuna, 1tbl of mayo wrapped in lettuce.  It has about 40-45g pro and 0 carbs.  I know what you're talking about though.  I was just on a regular diet just like yours until I hit my plateau, and I also was thinking it was due to the amount of carbs I was eating.  Carbs seem to be in everything but as long as you're eating the right carbs, you shouldn't have a problem.  Not sure if you're a seafood type of person but things like salmon are also full of protein very few carbs.  You have a great diet by the way, once I get over my plateau, I'll be back on a regular diet just like yours and I can't wait but I've been stuck at a certian weight for two months now so I needed to take another route.

Hi!

So I am on a low carb diet of sorts (my only carbs are from veggies, and from nuts n' stuff). Remember that it really depends on what results you are going for here... I want to look like a fitness model. So therefore I need LOTS of protein. (we're talking 1.5-2grams per lb of lean body mass). Since I weight about 139lbs, and I have 21% body fat, then that means I have 109.81lbs lean body mass. So essentially I need to ingest 165-220 grams of protein per day. Since no one in their right mind should eat that much meat (bleck! I love meat but not that much! lol!) I need protein supplements to help. I still only get a min of 100 and average of 135 grams of protein though and my cals are at a ceiling of 1300 and a floor of 1050. So I think our goals are similar Laughing

Go to www.buildingbrawn.com if you have similar goals. I prefer that website (Flat rate shipping) but sometimes I find stuff cheaper on eBay. Anywho, I like DymaLean Dymatize Chocolate Shake (it's friggin rediculous that anything that healthy is that yummy). It's 200cals, and has 42 grams of protein. It's measured so no mess, no worries, saves time. I drink two a day for the majority of my protein requirements. I love to blend it with ice and water... it says you can use milk or soy milk but no way! lol... it's so sweet and malt like that if you added anything else I think it'd be too rich. The carbs are low (5g), the potassium is high (500 mg is as much as 2 banana's), and the fat is low, and the sugar is 0. MIND YOU, if you take in this much protein you're going to NEED fiber... and lots of it! lol. The good thing about these shakes are that they have 4g of fiber... so that'll help when you're on a 25g a day fiber regime. 3 Cups of salad, and 3 stalks of celery per day along with these shakes will be keen enough though.

I hope this all helps & Good Luck to you!! Cool Let me know if you need other reccomendations! :)
