Those little red bumps on your arms...

Quote  |  Reply

How in the name of all holies to you get rid of them? My arms are getting really strong and good-looking, , but they just look like big sausages w/a rash! I know they're normal, but I've never read about how to get rid of them. Thanks!

I have KP as well. If I'm going to wear an outfit that bares my arms I just use this honey almond sugar scrub in the shower, it works like a charm. It always makes my arms feel so smooth for a day or so. Though, I have noticed it's starting to clear up (after many long embarassing teenage years haha.)

Is that something you bought, or something you made - if made, what's in it?

It's store bought. It's called Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub- Almond & Honey. I've read that most sugar scrubs should do the trick but I've only ever tried this one. Plus, I love the smell.

hmmm...i used to have them on the back of my upper arm but they are gone. it seems like they went away within the last few months, so the only things that have changed are:

omega 3-6-9 supplement, my multi-V, ojon tawaka lotion (special nut oils) and hair products (my hair *is* long so does lay on the back of my upper arms) or switching to YAZ for birth control. idk.

I have the horrid things on my arms too. So I joined a community and read something interesting one day. I haven't tried it but I thought I'd share.

I recently went on a diet very similar to the one described in your link, and it has left me with the softest skin I've ever had. It's also reduced inflammatory weight I've been carrying for quite some time (8 lbs in 2 weeks, and I've struggled with ANY weight loss for over four years), and helped me to actually feel energized from the foods I eat. It was a HUGE push to make it through the first week (one of my biggest problems was a systematic candida infection, which causes major detox symptoms when you stop consuming sugar, milk, gluten, soy ... anything that yeast likes to munch on. It's easier now because I realize that eating those foods (at least for now) will make me tired, cranky, and put me into a major brain fog.

Good luck to all on your migrations away from KP!
