What do you DO for a living?
Do you work outside the home? If so, what do you do for a living?
If not, what was your last job?
If you are a student, what are you studying?
I'm a chef. 12 years now.
I'm a student, majoring in Theology (Historical-Biblical Studies) and Music (Theory and Composition), and I have minors in Hispanic Studies and General Education. Obviously, I'm going to be living in a box.
Actually, I'm hoping to either go in for my Ph.D. or work at a huge church as their music director--as long as I get to keep composing!
I wish I had a job that sounded exciting *coughcough celluitedelight*
I work for a major bank, as an Admin Assistant for the Market Office...(the market covers like, 1/4 of Canada, geographically speaking).
Essentially I am a bunch of people's bitch. :) And I live on Excel spreadsheets & CC all day.
Right now I am on my second hiatus from college so I can figure out if I'm wasting my money majoring in something I don't really want to do. I plan on going back spring semester, so right now I am pouring coffee for yuppies and trying to keep my cool while being treated like I'm subhuman on a daily basis.
I'm a registered nurse at a GI office. Been a nurse for 8 years now.
Jack of all Trades at a small company. You name it and I can do it!
full-time psychology student & right now I'm a marketing intern. I'm done in a few weeks though, thankfully, then it's off to school.
Database administrator and manager of the Oracle DBA group for a county health orginization. For all non geeks, that means that I work on big computers.
Interior Designer
Full time student majoring in Business (not 100% which yet thiough) and German. This summer I'm interning at an 'automotive' company (we don't make cars, just the parts that go into them) as a buyer, done in 2 weeks though!! woo then back to school :)
I'm a full time student majoring in 1) Cell and Molecular Biology and 2) Human Biology. I also work part-time as a math/science/English/French tutor. =)
I'm still in high school, but I do already know what I want to do with my future. Medical Research.
I'm a stay at home mom for 19 years now. My last job was in the warehouse of a printing company that sells wedding supplies. Now we own an off road buggy/scooter internet business called EDGE Powersports in Idaho.
I'm a Course Manager for a leadership development institute. While primarily a leadership development center, we also deal with organizational development/team building, personal growth, and executive and life coaching. A large part of our theory and methodology have to do with somatic observations and moving you towards not just thinking about your goals, but actually getting you into action to make those goals happen.
I am in charge of all of the logisical pieces that make the courses come together. (Pre-course conversations and emails, getting materials/handouts ready, ordering catering, managing payments, etc.) We're a relatively small company, but the ripples of the work done here extend all over the globe. The staff here is like family and we have SO much fun together. And it's really really rewarding to see how the lives of our students are touched and changed as they go through our programs.
Please feel free to message me if you'd like to know more about us. :)
I'm a telemarketer and I LOVE it! *ducks*

I'm a retired RN, part time student of theology and full time wife of a locomotive engineer. If there is another wife of an engineer out there - please comiserate with me! His schedule just makes me crazy... he wants to lose weight, too, but doesn't eat for the 2 days he's gone and then eats like crazy when he's home. Now, he's a guy and he can do it - but we have all learned that the metabolism of the female is so very different. And at my age (almost 60) I can't binge without consequences or exercise harder to work it off.
Oh, and what do I do for a living? They pay me to stay home - ahhh, retirement! I highly recommend it! It's a good deal to work hard when you're young (also raised 3 sons) and take it easy - with pay! - when you're older.

you won't love it when you call me ;)
I have the best job ever - I am a clinical research project manager. I do everything from drawing blood and measuring vital signs to complete diagnostic interviews to conduct analyses to write manuscripts to teach medical students. I love my job because no day is ever the same and I am constantly learning.
I'm also a student, hoping to get my doctoral degree in behavioral/social epidemiology.
I'm a civil servant in the Judicial System of the County Circuit Court.
