A group for those of us who are living the Veg life, but are in areas unfriendly towards vegetarians (in my case farm country). How do you manage in an area where almost every restaurant has meat in all meals, save the salad bar and a token veggie burger.

Many of us who are vegetarians didn't grow up that way.  And a large number of us live in smaller or rural areas where Meat and dairy make up the main course at most meals.

How do you handle going out to eat, dealing with relatives (especially at holidays),  office potlucks and those who just don't get it or think you are weird.

Come share with us, sugestions, ideas, ranting about others. What ever you would like to talk about (with in site policy, duh!!)
