i loathe my upper arms! anyone else?
it seems that lately, i am obsessed with my upper arms. in pictures of myself, its the first thing i look at. when i am having a "fat day" all i see are arms arms arms! i am actually pretty pear shaped, and i think my hips/thighs/butt are pretty flabby, but i have come to terms with them and they are very easy to hide if you wear the right clothes. but now that its getting hot out, its so hard to hide those arms!
anyone else feel the same? also any fashion tips on how to make upper arms look skinnier?
(oh and i am already watching my cals and doing cardio and weight training, so my arms are looking a little better but i think i will always hate them)
I HATE my upper arms. Luckily they were the first thing I noticed to start getting smaller when I started losing weight, but they are STILL there and I am still 17lbs from my goal weight so I'm hoping they just go away 17lbs from now. >:[!
I just avoid tight sleeves right now. Luckily I have a small frame for a boy and most guys shirts even in size small are not tight at all around my arms so it's not that difficult.
My arms seem to be the slowest thing to go... the thing that has helped me get them smaller is pushups.. I do them off the ball and I'm starting to notice some definition and shoulders for once.
I'm with you. I despise my arms. I really don't mind the rest of me. (I'm 114 and 5 feet. I need to lose maybe 5 lbs.) But my arms are always always flabby. And I hate to use weights. I've just started doing yoga and I think this may be a good solution for toning my arms without having to pump weights.

Pushups are one of the best moves you can do to tone upper arms, if you put your hands closer together it works you triceps more, further apart it's more shoulders and chest. So if you want to target your triceps keep your hands close together. I share the sentiments of flabby upper arms, I feel like this is every woman's curse, but toning really helps.
