How would YOU log this activity?
I am working out with a personal trainer 3x a week.
Twice a week I do "bootcamp cardio". The name is a little deceiving because it's not cardio in the way I'm used to. We don't run. We don't use any machines either. We just use our bodies and chairs and stairs and whatnot to do the exercise. A typical half hour consists of a warm up of jogging/jumping jacks then depending on which areas of the body we are focusing on we'll do kick boxing, laps of lunges, various abdominal exercises, squats, stair exercises etc.
I'm definitely am huffing and puffing and sweating during and after the workout.
What would you log this as? circuit training is the closest that I could see.
Calisthenics, good old fashioned calisthenics- vigorous
