How do you log the different exercises on Wii fit?

Do you know how many calories you burned? Because you could add it in under a similar activity and adjust the length of time to get the number of calories burned about right.

I really have no idea how many calories i burned.  When i do the yoga on Wii fit, I log 10 mins of hatha yoga from the activity calculator.  When I do the running game, I log the minutes under light aerobics.  I wonder if this is pretty accurate of what I burned?

I did a search in the activity section for Wii and this is what came up:

Calorie Count Results for: wii

  1. Aerobic - Low Impact
  2. Calisthenics - Home Exercise, Light or Moderate Effort, General (Example: Back Exercises), Going Up & Down From Floor
  3. Boxing - Punching Bag
  4. Stretching - Hatha Yoga
  5. Calisthenics - (e.g Pushups, Situps, Pullups, Jumping Jacks), Heavy, Vigorous Effort
  6. Aerobic - General
  7. Jogging - In Place

I guess the thing to do is to determine exactly what you did and break it down into the kind of exercise and log it accordingly.  I don't have Wii Fit but I think I would try that and see what happens.  That's how I log when I do the Biggest Loser video.

Yes, that is what I have been doing.  I just hope it is accurate.

that's how i've been doing my fitt for  the last 4 months and it seem to be working well enough. although i have been thinking about getting a heart rate monitor and double checking it with that.

How many calories does it say you are burning in each session? I sell the wii fit at work, and i've always been a bit sceptic.
