How I do I log Zumba as an activity?
Asked by anonymous on May 19, 2010 in Fitness

I am doing a 60-minute Zumba class three times a week but I cannot find Zumba specifically as an exercise option for logging daily activity.   It seems to equate to aerobics, but I am not sure which level of aerobics to choose.  Do you know what an accurate calorie burn will be?

Answer

Zumba is an fitness program that combines Latin and international music in dance routines the feature aerobic and fitness interval training done to a combination of fast and slow rhythms.  All of Calorie Count's dancing activities could be a proxy for Zumba, although I would probably log fast ballroom dancing to represent your Zumba. Ultimately, the activity to choose depends upon your vigor, and you have to be the judge of that.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
