Does anyone have any suggestions on books about dealing with loneliness and depression? Thanks.

I don't have any specific suggestions but I have recently developed a love of podcasts. They're free and you can see them through the iTunes store in iTunes. They have all sorts of types, including motivational and self help. Hope all is well.

Feeling Good by David D. Burns M.D. It takes a behavioral approach and has exercises you can do.

I got an ipod for my birthday in November and I want to try out these podcasts. I'm in itunes store and see the podcasts and stuff... I'm just wondering where the 'mental health' type podcasts are? Not just about depression but other self help...like anxiety. I can't seem to find it. >_<

Edit: Can I get these on my ipod? I just found some cool ones (nothing to do with self help though xD). Or can I only listen to them on itunes?

Okay. In the iTunes store you need to get to the podcast section. On the left hand side, there are categories. Click on Health. After that, scroll down a little. On the left hand side you should see the "More Health" section. Click on Self-help in this section. They have all sorts of things. Addiction, depression, stress relief, and relationship problems.

You can get them on your iPod. You need to plug it in. When the iPod connects, there should be an extra icon on the side of iTunes. Click on that. Now you should see all your sync options. There should be a tab for Podcasts where you can tell it what to do when you connect.

If you have any problems feel free to message me. Goodluck.

That is an excellent book.  I read it a long time ago and can say it worked very well.  It made sense and was an easy read.
