Long Hair

Do you like long hair (on women)?  At what point does it go from looking good to looking creepy?  At what age does it become weird to have really long hair?

hmm. i don't tend to brush nor wash my hair on a regular basis, and whether long or short tend to form dreads without trying. and, from male and female i tend to get compliments on my hair.

not washing your hair or brushing it tends to be perceived as laziness and a lack of self respect

ever watch What Not to Wear? those "fashion offenders" who keep their hair unkempt and messy are always made to change it.. and the end result looks much better.

I don't know you personally, but did you ever think that maybe sometimes people are lying? Like I know people who will go up to someone and be like "oh those shoes are cute" but then turn to another person and be like "what was she thinking?? those are hideous"

this happens all the time.. when you have nothing nice to say, lie. If your friend asked you if those pants make her look fat, you probably would'nt say "yeah you look like a beached whale, you should lose 20lbs".. you don't want to hurt her feelings, so you'd say "yah those look nice" or maybe you will be a little more truthful and say "I don't like them that much".. but never something hurtful, at least I hope not

I dunno if this is the same situation, like I said I don't know you... but whatever, be offended if you want. I'm just voicing my opinion like the OP asked to

as far as "friends" lying to you - hmm my circle must be better than yours :X

and as far as hooters - my fault, i seem to recall (apparently incorrectly) seeing a thread where you've mentioned yourself as a hooters girl.

again - whatev. you're right - just voicing your opinion. one i heartily disagree with.

I killed my hair with bleach going from black to blonde so I had to chop it all off.  I'm not going to lie, there were tears in my eyes as I cut it all off. Some girls can pull it off really well; IMO it's all about a combination of confidence and good face shape.

Doesn't stop me from feeling like I look like a boy though :(

no I don't believe everything that I see on tv... but it's pretty obvious that someone with a rats nest for a hair-do looks much better when its actually washed, combed and styled

there's no Hooters where I live... and I don't have "hooters" to work at one if there was haha

did I say you look bad? no I didn't, and judging from your pictures your hair looks no where near as bad as you discribed it in your first post... I'm sorry but just think that everyone should be able to put some effort into presenting themselves, it's not hard to run a brush through your hair before you walk out the door or have a quick shower in the morning...

I'm a guy and 99.9% of the time I *hate* short hair on women. There are very few who can pull it off. I'm just not a fan.

 I don't really have a personal preference for women.  It really depends on there face structure and hair type.  I have very thin hair so I can't pull off long or even medium length styles.  Short is the only thing that works for me.  I love my asymmetric bob. 

I really don't like long hair on men though.  If there is going to be any length at all, its gotta only be on the top, like a fauxe hawk.  yummy.

 You shouldn't though, because that's just my opinion. There are I'm sure a lot of guys who would say the opposite.

I will say this though, despite the fact that I'm not a fan of short hair I've been really attracted to girls in the past who do have short hair because of their personality.  Women's personalities, for me at least, can detract from or add to the "hotness" scale a LOT one way or the other.

This probably isn't the best time to mention it,Lol.... Um. I love that show!

What Not to Wear <3

It depends on your face, your type of hair, and it's health. Some guys/girls look really sexy/great with long hair, and stupid with short. Other guys/girls look great/sexy with short and not good with long. Different styles suit different faces/hair textures better than others too,imo. A certain hair style can enhance your best features. It can also work against a person the same way.

I like all different types of hair styles/etc just on different people. Healthy hair is a key factor all the way around for me. :)

Creepy hair = Wild unkempt hair that's unhealthy at any age/length. imo.

Edit:- btw: Wavy beach hair is super-sexy too,imo. There are some wildish/untamed/wind blown styles that give an unpolished look. That in a cuts/styles I sometimes adore too. e.i. crimped,wavy,curly,etc. Those looks are great on some people also.  Not a giant fan of dreads it takes a certain someone with a certain something to make that work,imho.

 hmmm....i didn't know 25 was old.  Im only 1 year away from turning into a slut, I better stop getting tattoos and grow my hair out while its still trendy!!!

I'm 34. Mine was down to my waist. (see gallery or here). I donated 14" to locks of love in january, and now its down to my shoulder blades. I plan to wear it long forever.

I hope it is tacky and creepy. I am a banshee.

Not creepy. Not tacky. Or: "slutty." Lol! btw: Kudos for donating to locks of love. :) My mother/aunts/cousins all do that too. My mom always donated our hair to them when we were kids as well.
