Weight Loss

I'm new here and I've been doing CC for just 3 weeks.
I'm 5'5, 162 lbs (according to my new digital scale;155lb according to the old one). According to this site I should eat 1300 cals a day to have a 500 cals net deficit. I've been eating around 1250, and no regular excersice.
But I'm just not losing! After I got a new digital scale last week, I found I'm actually gaining at a speed of around 0.2lbs a day!!
What am I doing wrong?? Or should I wait for another few weeks before I can see me losing??
How long does it take before you guys actually start losing?

.2 lbs a day means absolutely nothing.
i vary about 4 pounds up and down over where I really am at.
are you packing in the water? a gallon of water = 8lbs so just a couple cups a day can raise your weight, but its water weight.
eating alone can probably help you lose a little weight, but really you need to mix in some exersize of some kind. even walking will get your heartache up, cause you want to burn that fat.

Thanks capty99.
If I'm varying "up and down" then no problem. But it seems I'm just varying "up", and I'm afraid this might keep going:(
I drink lots of water if it's a hot day, and less otherwise.
But I do walk a lot cuz I don't drive.

It took me 7 weeks before I lost anything. I workout 30 minutes with weights, 45 minutes of cardio 5 times a week and eat 1,200 calories on non gym days and 1,400-1,500 on gym days. This week I lost 1 1/2 lbs.
Please be patient!! It took me over a month of doing all the right things before I lost any weight!! I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's worth it to stick to it. Once I started losing, I've been losing at a steady 1-2 pounds a week. Just keep doing what you're doing and know that it will work!!
Do some sports, maybe run a little bit.
everyone is right. .2 really is nothing. i can vary up to 2lbs a day, but i take it all in stride. it's really difficult to weigh every day, but i like to do it for the trends (this is my weight trend chart since i started here at the end of june: http://www.calorie-count.com/images/dynamic/w eight-small/199529.png?count=1184360596). maybe you can choose one day a week for OFFICIAL weigh-ins . that way you can weigh in everyday but only look at it as a "oh, i lost .5lbs this week even though i've fluctuated up and down throughout the last few days!" :)
also, do you exercise?? if so, maybe you aren't getting enough to eat. i lose more weight the more i eat because apparently i'm a lot more active than i think i am :) (a couple hours of tennis a day, weight training every other day, and on days without tennis i take a 4.5km jog/run that takes about half an hour..)
exercising more and eating more to make sure you dont go below 1200 might jumpstart you. :D
