How long did it take you to start losing weight?
Just curious how long it takes to start losing, I am staying under 1440 per day, I walk 45 mins hard everyday.
I am new here but so far by only counting what I eat in 5 days lost 2 lbs. I feel pretty good about that.
what are your stats? how much do you exercise I am just trying to be sure i am on the right track.
I started losing weight right away... I was very inactive so I started with a very gentle exercise program and worked on my calories first.
Hi - first post here. I started 6 weeks ago and I've lost 11 pounds. I'm very pleased. But, at the beginning, I was discouraged. Don't give up!
I have 56 lbs. more to go, but I am excited about it! I do cardio 4-5 times/week and will begin weight-training next week. I just wanted to go very slow about it. Hopefully that will help keep the weight off.
11lbs! Wow, good job. I know I am losing inches it is discouraging though looking at the scale, I am vowing not to get on it until Friday every week.
I started exactly a week ago and I have lost 2.5 lbs. Which is pretty good in my book because I haven't started exercising much yet. Just the occasional walk and getting to the park more with my son. Other than that it has just been from my food intake.
Everybody loses weight differently. For me, I think the inches won't show for awhile, while for you it sounds the opposite. Don't be discouraged though. You're doing this for your health right?...not a number. The number is just an added bonus in my book.
I weigh every morning upon waking and log it here on CC. It helps me see what's going on with my body. Do you notice a difference in the way you're clothes are fitting? If so,let that be your motivation...not the number!!!

I've been doing this for 2 weeks now and I have lost a little over 3 lbs. I am trying to get rid of 10-20 stubborn lbs of fat and throw on some muscle while I'm at it. So far so good. I am Male 6'5" 221 ish lbs. I eat 1850 - 2300 cal a day and hit the gym 5-6 nights a week for the treadmill for avg of 3.5 miles, and soon weight training. My BMR is 2200 ish depending where I look so I try to keep the cals under 2400. It has been working and I am already feeling the difference in energy and definition in my legs, next stop chest and abs, then I will never wear a shirt again....ever
my first week i lost 3 pounds...sedentary.
from 318 down to 315. currently 1750 cals for first 20 pounds (298).
