Just a quick question. How long do you usually wait to exercise after eating

either a big meal like dinner

or just a snack like yogurt or something?

I'm not 100% sure on these things yet so I ask silly questions (:

Not a silly question at all!
I just wait until I feel like my stomach is settled, then I go for it.  A snack, maybe 5-10 minutes.  Dinner, maybe 30 minutes or so.
Usually after a meal like dinner I'm not comfortable for an hour or more...so usually I'll wait about 2 hours.

With snacks, I usually have an apple and some milk then wait 20-30 minutes...

but it depends on how you feel!
for me, after a small snack i'd be ready in about 1/2 an hour, but a big meal i need about an hour

great thanks. i''m settled and im off.

so happy i've actually continued running for about 2-3 weeks now (:

its the best ive ever done.

2 hours is what i wait.

really just depends on personal taste.

i usually work out with my dad, and it takes him 30-60 min while i can eat and just pretty much go.

but if you're exercising to loose weight, you should actually do it before your meal. that way, instead of your body taking the food you just ate and breaking down that for energy, it goes directly to your fat stores since nothing is in your stomach.

For me it depends on how much I ate, and what exercise I'm gonna be doing. I don't really need to wait if I'm lifting weights but if I'm doing cardio I want to wait at least 30 min to an hour.
