This is our fifth day of rain in the DC area...
It's bright and sunny for the 4th day in a row over here in the Uk.
And I chose my engagement ring this weekend, just waiting for it to be delivered to get the official proposal!! After 6 months of fighting through the rough patch something has just clicked.

He should be doing it. The sweating to see whether or not you'd like it or not ;p
Nah, would rather have one that I like that pretending to like one that I don’t – or worse having to change it!! :o) After 4 weeks of him hinting around wanting to propose I sent him a link to the ring that I wanted. :o)

Sort of thanks to you anyway. you recommended that book to me - too good to leave to bad to stay, the book was the thing that bought us out of the rough patch we'd been stuck in, we talked loads about why we were struggling and we both realised that we were still togther after 6 months of fighting because we still wanted to be, and that was sign enough that we should fix things.
Yay!! Probably 2 years away financially to the actual date, but my great aunt is unfortunately not expected to still be with us by this time next year so trying to work out what to do.
It *IS* a good book. K used it herself to sort through her own thoughts and that helped us both immensely. Once one of us was sorted out, the cycle of arguments could end and we could move forward.
I am sorry to hear about your great aunt, but.. you can't really predict that stuff. My great uncle is still with us and I didn't think he'd be around to get to my wedding or not. No idea if he'll make the actual wedding, but he's still around.
Lunch time for me a stroll out in the golf course next to my office in the sun. :o)
