maybe try replacing some of the chocolate and diet chocolate and crisps with some veggies...they'll get you more nutrients and get you a better grade!!
also, maybe replaced the fried chicken with grilled, and throw in some lean lunch meat...like turkey!
That is one of my problems....I don't like veggies all that much...aside from the occasional potato and maybe carrots vegetables and me don't get along all that well taste wise.
Not bad in general I suppose but healthwise, you REALLY need to eat some fruits and vegetables. If you're having any cravings (not that you are!) I can TOTALLY see why (TOO MUCH processed food). (Actually, I guess two servings of fruit is not bad, which you did get in.) In my opinion, the ONLY decent things you ate were the chicken and the apple -- of course, for me it's not only about losing/maintaining weight -- it's also about GOOD HEALTH. You need the antioxidants in the vegetables. Shakes are ok but not ideal. You'd be better off making yourself some fruit/veggie smoothies and adding protein powder. TRUST ME, if you DO opt for a "green smoothie" you CAN'T taste the veggies and since you don't like them, this would be a good way to get them in.

I do want to point out that if make yourself taste/eat different vegetables you WILL learn to like them. I don't know how old you are but it doesn't matter -- old and young alike!

I used to do the Slimfast shakes and I was ADDICTED to them! Thank God I don't do that anymore.

All in all I give you kudos for trying -- really you're off to a good start and you can and probably will tweak it as you go along. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Guys -- isn't 100 grams of protein a bit much??? I think it should be about half that, no?

Try to remove Water from the food log. There is a known bug (Admin is working on that to fix) that will reduce your rating as soon as you add the water.

I am not sure whether they fixed this problem or not, jut try to remove the water and check your rating. It may work out.
Welcome!  Logging really does point up the problem areas.  I agree that you are going to need to develop a taste for vegetables.  What about salads?  Do you have the same aversion to them?  There are plenty of low cal dressings on the market to make them even healthier.  Do you eat tomatoes or tomato sauces?  That's a vegetable too you know.

Look at this process as making positive changes you can live with for good, not just a temporary diet that you'll go off as soon as you lose the weight.  Try changing one think at a time.  For me it was giving up added sugar - I used to put four spoons in my coffee and gradually cut it back. Then I stopped using so much fat in cooking.   You could find things in your diet to change - like switching those cupcakes for a piece of fruit.

Keep posting and keep logging!

Could also try different fruits and veggies - ones that you haven't tried, or maybe haven't had in a long time.  Taste for things tend to change as we get older, so sometimes things we didn't like when we were 10, we find at 20 we like!  Also, sometimes putting them in other foods instead of eating them plain or by themselves helps.  For example, instead of eating summer squash or zucchini plain, try dicing it up and adding it to pasta or rice.  Sometimes I'll take cucumber slices and put them in a bowl with some apple cider, let sit for about 15 minutes (or do them ahead of time before a meal and sit in the fridge while the meal is being prepared) - then eat.  The taste can be a bit strong if you're not used to apple cider, but they're good.  If you make homemade soup(s), try adding veggies to it.  I buy the bags of frozen veggies (mixed, different varieties) and use them in my soups, or again, add them to pasta or rice. I can't have a lot of tomato due to their acidity, however some people will take a tomato, slice it, then melt a piece of low-fat cheese on it, for a snack.  Could sprinkle some seasoning on it too for added flavor.  Celery stuffed with a little bit of peanut butter or low-fat/fat-free cream cheese is a nice snack.

There are different ways to add veggies to your diet without seeming like you really are.  Just gotta get creative!
Fruits and veggies are definitely a plus...but hey, we all need that chocolate kick every now and then. I couldn't help but notice you ate a Fat Free Jell-O Pudding snack. I eat those too and I love them!! I opt for the Sugar Free Calorie Reduced pudding cups myself. I know what you're thinking...sugar free foods tend to be a little bland, but I buy the Chocolate Mint flavor. The taste of the mint hides any blandness the pudding may have...and it's only 60 calories! I treat myself at lunch about 3 days a weeks. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
Thanks guys for all of the advise and yeah I agree that the cupcake could have been something else...maybe another apple.  Also all the veggie ideas sound good and since I love to cook I can probably find ways to add them creatively.

Thanks again.
