Looking for bi or bi friendly weight loss friends

Quote  |  Reply

I am a normal but semi-old person. I love CC. I have 25-30 pounds to lose. I recently posted something on the boards and was outed.....I didn't think it was an issue but now think I may have lost (or will lose) my support group. I still want a support group. Anyone here ok with me even though?

I support you! No one should judge anyone for what their heart has decided. I'm sorry that happened to you. Straight and GLBT friendly. I'm trying to lose 10 lbs (and have more of a healthier approach to exercise) - what are your goals?

My goals--

I want to lose 30 pounds (lost 20 so far so 50 total)

I want to feel healthy (fit)

I ride a stationary bike

zena....don't take it personal I'm sure you will still have a support group. I replied in your other thread and I don't have a problem with whatever you decide to do as long as it's the right choice for you. Life's too short not to be fully happy Smile

edit: forgot to say I'm straight.

Hi Zena!  I'm straight as an arrow, and I'd love to be part of your support group!  I have a pretty positive outlook on most days and I'm very open to any conversation topics.  I'm very opinionated and although folks may not agree on many things I have to say, I apppreciate a diverse group of opinions.  So...glad you're here!!!

thanks....omg.. tears actually welled up ............means alot  HUGS

My goals - to run a couple miles without falling down dead, to stop eating delicious, amazing fried food, and to stick with the plan of using the food diary and talking out the craving. Congratulations on your 20 lb loss!!!! That's awesome!

hey zena, i would love to be part of your support group too!

my goal is to lose 10-15 pounds and be able to run without getting stitches after like...30 seconds, lol.

subwaybusker-probably I am not as fit as you bu t((HUGS)) wlcome

Hey Zena,  Im sorry you had a bad experiance.  On a site like this where we all have to support each other to meet our goals  you would think people could be more open minded.

Ill out myself just for you.  Im a bisexual, pagan female who has in the past participated in a poly relationship with another woman and my husband.  We have an open relationship but both of us have the power to veto the others choices.

So there ya go, now your not out of the closet alone.

As far as my weightloss goes.  Ive still got about 50 lbs to lose.

Zena - count me in.. =)

I'll out myself for you too.. lez be friends! hahahahaha

My sexual orientation doesn't matter, and neither does yours.  I really can't stand closed-minded, stupid people.  I recently came out of the closet about my atheism, and I was really surprised how many people supported me (Now watch me get booted off this site!Wink)  Seriously, be who you are and hold your head up high.

Good luck!

amen phylbean! (i support your atheism ;P)

Awh, the very idea that you think your sexual orientation will affect the support you get makes me incredibly upset. & I think what upsets me the most is that I wouldn't be surprised if it were true =[. UGH I honestly don't understand how people can be that close-minded.

Anywho, you still have support. Calories don't discriminate & we all need whatever help we can get! =]

ladykelian and v)avila:

Thank you so much ((HUGS))

phyll subsay and cross HUGS

Because some people really are that close-minded...

I'm not sure how supportive I am but I'm bi so it doesn't bother me. haha

I agree with you.  I'm a Christian, and my religion says not to judge.  So here I am....trying to just be a good person.  Just like all the other people out there.  Atheist, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist.  We're all human!!!

It make me sad that you expect that people you had considered friends may now drop you because of an element of who you are.
I'm technically straight... but I have lots of gay/lesbian/bi friends and I, myself, can definitely appreciate an attractive woman and have no issues expressing so. ;)
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you want to chat or need encouragement- I'm happy to replace someone in your support group more close minded than myself.  Anyone who won't accept you for who you are isn't worth spending time with anyway.

*hug

I am not exactly sure what you posted previously but you didn't lose this support friend....

Been a Zena supporter for umm several months now and wouldn't turn my back on my chica!

I don't remember seeing any of your posts until yesterday when you were outed. I hope you could see I support you.

Bi the way ... I'm incredibly open about sexual relationships.
