Am relatively new--started out last month, but as usual have had difficulty sticking to my plan. That said, I have made some small improvements, so that is always good. However, I immediately got a couple of buddies who no longer communicate. Am trying not to take it personally. Anyway, I need a buddy with similar goals, life stage issues. I need to lose 100 pounds. I am forty six, so I want to have accomplished this by the time I am 50 so that I can, indeed, be 50 & fab

Hi there!  Perhaps we could be support buddies :) 

I am 46 years old, 205 lbs, and have dieted many times in the past.  I am ready to start anew.  I started exercising about a month ago but did not change my diet much.  I increased my exercise and changed my eating habits beginning July 14th. I feel really strong about this.  Other times when I lost weight, I did it by changing my diet and did very little exercise. Eventually I gained the weight back ... plus more.  I have vowed to stick to both exercise and diet ... hand in hand.

Hi Kim, I also am new at this and to this site.  I would love to be a loser with you.  I am 45 and at 155 lbs.  Want to lose too.  Chat with me and we can encourage each other.  I love sweets terribly!  I am here if you want to chat. Karla

Nice to meet you. I'm chrys 50yrs from the UK and and new to this site also.

 I need to lose weight and tone up the flabby bits like my jelly-belly and the wing-flaps on my arms. Maybe we can all motivate each other, I tend to procrastinate you know, good intentions but lazy Lol. I'll be supportive and a good friend if you need one.
