I'm a 28 year old female. I got married at 21. My hubby is now 33. I actually only weighed 100 lbs or less until I was 24/25. At 25 I gained to 125-130. I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which explained the quick weight gain. Then at 26 I got pregnant with my daughter after 4 1/2 years of trying. At 39 weeks I weighed 160 lbs. I had her June 2007 and within a month I got back down to around 135 but gained back a few more pounds since then. I am shooting for a goal of 125 lbs but really would love to be 120 since we plan on trying to get pregnant again next year and I want some room to add a few pounds extra. Anyway my target date is January 9th 2010 (hubby's 34th birthday). We'll see! Anyone want to be my buddy so we can motivate each other?

Sure, I'll be your buddy. I'm 29 years old, female, and weighed 107 until this past summer. Then, I started not fitting into my clothes and found out I weighed 115.
I am more looking to get fit than to lose weight - I'd like to tone my arms, abs, and thighs, and to have more energy. My target date is close to yours, January 3rd 2010, which is my birthday.

I also was farely thin (110 lbs) until i hit 24yrs old. then i weighed about 135lbs. im only 5'2, & now am 27 yrs old. i just had a daughter this past may, so now im an even bigger gal, Lol!! Im at 147lbs, and my goal weight as well is 120lbs by april 2010. Im breast feeding half the time but it really hasnt help me lose weight like they all say.
Come on gals WE CAN DO IT!! Maybe with a "buddy" system it WILL help, like you say. I believe in us!
